Georgia has a new home As you know, I was fortunate enough to be able to adopt a retired breeder that we named Georgia.....Since she was a retired breeder, she would literally freak if we confined her and she thrived on quiet and routine and consistency... Well to make a long story short, My daughter, who is expecting her 2nd baby and my 13 month grand daughter have moved back home...The enviroment was not good for them at their home.... So suffice to say, things are really chaotic around here....House is totally disorganized...Major toy overload.....Everyone's emotions are wacky... Georgia was totally freaking over all the commotion...She was stressing out terribly....She starting digging holes in the walls...Like she was trying to get away from everything....She stopped eating....Shaking.... So I decided that she deserved better than this....She went to a home that is very quiet and she is the only pet....She is settling down there beautifully...And amazingly quick... Go figure, Ben and Barn are thriving in the craziness here....They are so happy and loving every minute of it...Of course, they are used to the Grandbaby and my daughter coming over here alot....And they get to go places with daughter and grandbaby....Like to the Bank- Sonic- McD's-Starbucks... So I guess getting my girl just wasn't meant to be at this time....:( Joyce |
Sorry Joyce it didn't work out for the two of you but you certainly did the right thing by Georgia to relocate her to a quiet home. One that she will thrive in. Give yourself a pat on the back for trying and succeeding too even tho it wasn't what you hoped for. Enjoy those grandkids. They will keep you hopping all day long.:D |
Sorry to hear it was not a perfect match . . . .hopefully when all things have settled, you will find the right personality to fit your lifestyle. In the meantime, I bet you are happy spoiling your grandchild. |
Sorry to hear you had to give her up - glad you were wise to do so. And thrilled to hear she has a good new home. Hopefully a forever home! Sounds like she needs it. |
Bless her heart! And bless you for thinking of her best interests first. I know it's hard to do the right thing. Hugs from our house to yours. |
Joyce I'm sorry you weren't able to keep your girl. I know how much you've been wanting one. I hope your able to get another one in the near future. But at least she has a good and loving home and you'll be able to see her once in a while. |
