Sling as a carrier?
 
I have a couple of slings that I used for my boys when they were babies. Has anyone heard of using these for carrying our puppies in?

I may try it because he likes to stay close to me and always wants picked up but I can't tend to other things and needs when I do.

You are probably laughing at me right now but seriously............ lol

They do make pet carrier slings, I got one for Chip but he was too big for it. :(

In winter it gets harder....trust me. Haha! I have three layers on and she wants to get in there. I am always nervous she is going to get stuck in my zipper of my sweatshirt or something !!!

I oftten use a baby sling to take out my Shayley...she likes it, I do too :p

I tried one for Coby, but we didn't do very well with it. The one I tried did not have a leash or collar attachment, so it didn't seem very secure. No matter how tightly I swaddled/snuggled him, it was easy to wiggle out of and it would have been a long fall to the floor. There may be a trick to it that we just never mastered. Sure seemed like a good idea tho!!

I've actually thought about buying one for Bella, there are times when we're around a lot of people that I would like to have here in my arms for her safety but have my hands free. I guess neither one of us are crazy after all.:D

I have one for Sophie it works great in crowed areas where I don't want to leave her on the floor.

I just bought a pet sling for Murfee. Haven't got to try it out though. My hands are getting arthritis so bad that I thought it would be a big help when I carry him for any length of time.

I found the best carrier at a local mom and pop pet store. It would be very easy to make. It is a fleece tote bag with a fleece strap that you put over your neck. You can carry baby at your side or in front, just like a human baby pack that is worn in the front. Holly just loves the thing! It is kind of like the napsack that Chattiesmom sells but with a neck strap. Oh, I hope I just didn't give her an idea!

Jack and I used a baby sling with Seth and Sasha, still do every once in a while. I prefer them. I feel they hug the body better then the others. Just my thoughts.;)
