I looked it up and you're in luck being in Colorado. There aren't any state laws about rabies. It's regulated by the counties. It also said that the quarantine period can be determined by the health officer.
In those states that have rabies laws, they are pretty hard and fast, especially in states like here in North Carolina where they do have cases of rabies. There is no exemption for medical reasons, unfortunately, and the laws are strictly enforced. At least we are a three year state, though. |
