Worlds tiniest dog I called the question line for Denta Bones and while you wait they have a recording of things you probably didn't know about pets...anyway they said that the worlds tiniest dog was a yorkie that wt. was 4 oz!!! at 2 years old!!! They said he was the size of a matchbox!!! OMG!! That's a tiny Yorkie. They also gave his height but I missed it because I was in shock over his weight. Thought you'd all get a kick out of it. Hugs, Terry Moxie's Mom |
i read about that yorkie on some website but i would really like to see a photo but can't seem to find one. |
 That is scary!! |
Is that even possible? |
I hope the poor little guy was healthy! |
1 Attachment(s) The Guinness Records website currently lists "Big Boss", a Yorkshire Terrier, as the smallest dog in the world. Big Boss was listed at 11.94cm (4.7in) tall when guardian Dr. Chai Khanchanakom from Thailand registered the toy dog with Guinness. Above: Big Boss has a small drinking problem. (Photo: Guinness World cant find a mention of weight tho, but found a piccy |
Is that a shot glass????? |
I was trying to post a link here, but isn't working. If you go to google images and type world's tiniest dog, a picture comes up of a little yorkie named Tiny Pinocchio. He's pretty small and really cute. There's a little story there too. |
every site i search has a different dog as being the smallest! lol found one that says whitney is smallest now... but no piccy The world's smallest dog living in terms of height is Whitney, a Yorkshire terrier who measured 7.6 cm (3 in) to the shoulder on November 26, 2002. Whitney is owned by the UK's Christopher and Patricia Sheridan of Shoeburyness, Essex, UK. |
ohhh right i get it.... they have different categories, shortest length and smallest height, cant find one about weight tho, can you tell i was sitting here bored til i found something to do lol |
i posted a link to tiny pinocchio on a different thread i started |

Noki is dead. He died at 2 years, I htink. Apparently he had several health problems and it didn't help that he was dragged around the country. The stress had to be tremendous on theat little guy. Owner said she had hoped to earn a living for herself and disabled husband with the baby.. |
i would be terrified to even hold him! |

Saw little Pinocchio and his owner on Oprah once. He used a birdcage for a kennel, and the top of a Gerber baby food jar for a feeding dish. Showed him outside in the grass--really tiny. I felt so sorry for him, he looked so timid and shy. He was precious, though. 3puppies4me |

That dog is so tiny. I will be so scared to own a pup that small. He doesnt look happy. He is cute thou. |
I wouldn't even know what to do with a pup that small! I like that Tini is a healthy 5 lbs now....I finally have gotten used to not stepping and shuffling, but I don't know what I would do with a dog that small. I would be afraid of hurting her all time! |
ok my little rant....i think its totally wrong for a dog to be that small everyone think they are cute but just imagine how many health problems these babies have and all because someone wanted a tiny dog. They had to suffer in their life just because someone thought it would be cute....the human race disgusts me everytime there is always going to be someone out there who has the money to buy whatever they want not caring about the side effect is might have. |

I don't see how puppies that small could possible be healthy...they are tiny that anything small could cause huge dangers to them...I am so glad that my girls both got up to at least 4lbs, that way I know they are good and healthy!!! |
