Alot of Yorkie babies go from black to platinum on their heads first before turning a shaded tan. Its normal. |
Welcome to yt, yup they change colors often:) love it;) |
your puppy is fine..Mine is 5 mos. now, and her head is almost completely white and has been for about a month, and so is her brothers...you will see a lot of changes over the next 2-3 years |
Hi and welcome to YT. Our little Koda is the same way. He is almost 12 weeks, and he is black and tan with the white roots on his head too. He is our first yorkie also. I was wondering if that was the color he was going to be. But looks like he will be going through alot of changes from what others have posted here.:) Have fun with your furbaby.:D Sheri and Rianna |
Congratulations! As a new Yorkie mom myself, I know what you are talking about with the color change, wich is normal. Jeter was black and gold when he was first born but by the time he was 8 weeks you could see the color change at the top of his head. Now at 13 weeks, he looks like he is going gray like an old man! I can't wait to se what his adult coat is going to be! |
oh, I would love to see pictures of your yorkie baby.:) |
i am so glad to hear that everyone else has the same color changes happening also. how do you post pictures on this site? |
