First thing I saw was "[SIZE=3]YORSHIRE without a "K". NOW, I know that is spelled the same. Anyhow, they state "no contracts, no jumping thru hoops". What the Sam Hill is that? NO CONTRACT!!!!! That is scary. Jumping thru hoops should be the standard for placing your puppies. IMO! |
Brasil/Brazil....both ways~ Well...the dogs pictured are beautiful....I love the coloring~ :) And... Originally Posted by diva pup In Brazil it is spelled Brasil. So..I just learned something here also~ Shows how much I paid attention to the spelling of things... I stand corrected~ |

this comment is only directed at the title!! not to be confused with any thing other than "A CUT ABOVE YORSHIRES" and shouldn't be misconstrued to be taken any further! |

Admin has posted the appropriate disclaimers about items for sale and advertisements such that anyone, even a newbie, will know that he nor the members here are endorsing anything by the mere posting on the part of the member of the seller. I do not think it is our place to censor people or make them afraid to comment for fear that a newbie may take it as an endorsement. We have to give people more credit than that in my opinion. |

Thank You Alex's Mom, I'm happy to see someone is atleast trying to be kind in here. I was not trying to be a seller of another breeder. I just was soooooooooo happy to see wonderful lines aval to the everyday yorkie lovers such as myself i wanted to share the findings. It really disapoints me to see how ugly and quick to Judge eachother some are in here:o( Maybe time would be better remenbering we all Love the Yorkies and i thought we were here to share our great stories and ect? |

Lisa - I think you're right about newbies getting the wrong idea, BUT I wanted to add that when a person searching for a puppy puts a breeder's/kennel's website they are thinking of getting their puppy from into a search engine, threads like these do come up and they may be able to read about some of the red flags if people like us on forums posted about them. For example. If you search for the "breeder" (mill, IMO) Shady or Brushy Creek Kennels, a thread by Vilette on this forum comes up. That may help educate just one more person and prevent them from buying their puppy from the mill. I dont want to start an argument... just wanted to point that out because its something I think about every time a breeder and his/her site is addressed on this forum. |
Also, I hope no one ever feels unwelcome here. I love reading threads by our breeders. Its one of my favorite past times. |

Thank you!! I thought this thread might be getting a little warm, and thought OMG what did I start!! I was getting somewhat concerned when I read this.. The breeder that you are discussing is on another board that I belong to. I'm not sure if she belongs to YT, but I would still like to ask everyone to be respectful. I do not want anyone to feel unwelcome here. When we're on the internet, it's easy to forget that you can't hear the person you're talking to. For all we know, she's originally from Japan and it took her years to even learn the English language. Please be careful who you judge. |
??? I am confused..they spell Yorkshire..YORSHIRE? Rini, you got me...it is a terrier head, but I was trying to be kind. |
??? I just got a nice email from the breeder and she said the spelling is a mistake. |
Pat and Rini, I know I am no expert but I LOVE the little brazilian dogs head. I think it is beautiful. Please tell me why it isn't? I see the soft coat but I am missing what is wrong with his head. Please help... |
