I am really happy you did not support this person either. I know you and your wife must be heartbroken not to have a new baby today but i think in the long run you will be thankful. As you can see there is so much info on this site and i look forward to seeing your new addition when you find the right one.

I am glad you are not getting the puppy from this person and supporting what she is doing..I hope the original breeder can do something also..like possibly sue her??? I know you will find your perfect yorkie soon!!! I also hope paypal refunds all of your money!!! Keep us posted!!

Hi, Paypal allows you to dispute a payment. Either phone them or look for the prompts on their webpage. The major thing that would worry me about this purchase is... the health condition of the puppy or genetics of parents. Just a thought. Good luck.

If when going through paypal, you had the money taken from your checking acct. call the bank and see about having a stop payment..I had to do that at one time(I screwed up)...if on a charge card, call the cc company and explain what happened to them, they may be able to take care of it for you, since you don't have what you paid for..

I am just shocked at the price where i live it is 400 for a male and 600 for a female and they are very reputable breeders. Maybe it is just because of the small town people around won't pay that much for a furbaby. I was in the pet store buying a leash and a lady was in there complaining how she had to pay 375 for a akc minpin show dog

I ended up being contacted by YT's Tigger36792 who put me in touch with Natalie of Natalie's Yorkies, one of YT's recommended breeders. Natalie worked out a deal for me to get her Alexis puppy and we're hopefull she'll be shipped to us Friday. We're very grateful for the support we've received from the YT community, and especially from Deb (Tigger36792) and Natalie.

Ironically, less than 30 minutes after I had sent my payment to Natalia, Deanna called to see if I was going to meet her at 3 PM to make our pup/cash exchange (she called about 2:40 PM and we live at least 80 miles from the town we were supposed to meet in). When I told her no, she sounded shocked. She said she had e-mailed me replies to my concerns, but I never received the e-mails. She also said she didn't have contact with Stringer Creek Kennels until I told her what I had found. She then asked if I talked to a speicific person, and I remembered one of the names from Stringer Creek was Cia. Deanna then said she had purchased some puppies from Cia but she hadn't received them yet.

Deanna seems nice as do the people at Stringer Creek I talked to. Still, I feel much more comfortable with Natalie and I'm glad I decided to go with her.

We've decided Alexis will become Lexie, and my wife and I are preparing to brave a Sierra Mountain winter storm to get her home safe and sound and continue giving Lexie the love Natalie has already lavished on her.

I have purchased puppys from Natalie and you wont be sorry. All the dogs I have gotten from her were perfect. My Vet said she has the nicest yorkies he has ever seen. I know you will be very happy with Lexie...You should rest easy, you picked a fine Breeder.

I agree!! I love her dogs and feel she is a wonderful lady and breeder.

Just to point out one thing,
Natalie is a featured breeder meaning she paid $50 a year to advertise in the Featured Breeder listing. She is not recommended by YT, they do not screen any breeders.
Her friend appears to have recommended her to you.

Yes I consider Natalie a friend, since she is the only breeder that I have gotten healthy quality dogs from. I met her personally when I bought the forth dog from her. Some people who dont like the fact that she sells the tiny yorkies, do not realize she also sells the bigger breeders. I know from experience that she could give you a very long list of references from people who have purchased dogs from her. Many have, like me went back to her more dogs. I would be very happy to give my vets name and number to anyone wanting to verify the quality of Natalies dogs.

At $3,000 to $5,000 a pop, I would hope they would be quality, as in show?? Why should a female cost $2,000 more?? Do they come with spay/neuter contract??

She doesn't advertise teacups and doesn't like to use those words at all.

My only concern with natalies dogs is that I believe they are tiny which is not a good idea if you plan to breed.

There are some breeders up in Tahoe who go to the same vet I go to; I have no personal knowledge, so I am not recommending - just a thought if you haven't gotten your puppy yet.

hmm..I thought she did call them teacups on her site. Okay, is she selling those puppies currently on the featured for sale thread with full breeding rights? If so, isn't she worried about them falling into the wrong hands (someone not as experienced as tinies as she is) and being bred, especially with them being so tiny? Just curious

We do our best to screen potential buyers as well as possible and have not and will not sell to a broker knowngly. We have AKC and CKC breeder and have been inspected by AKC and are in good standing with them. Thanks

I've got to say that I'm troubled that my thread has been hijacked and has turned into a war of words. Tigger, and others, reached out to offer help and suggestions - many with a PM. I owe a thank you for the effort Linda44 made as well as Tigger and Natalie. Everyone has been kind and supportive of me so I'll ask you to please resist a need to express an opinion that appears to insult the sensibilities of others.

Natalie offered me a deal I felt was fair, but she is also running a business so I won't disclose the deal that she gave me. I'm satisfied with it - that should be good enough for others - it's my decision and I'll live with it's consequences. I am quite confident that it was the right deal for me.

I wanted a female, puppy Yorkie with unlimited AKC registration and that's what I got. I don't know if I'll breed her, but if I choose to, I hope to get reliable advise from the Yorkie vets who frequent YT. Lexie will first and foremost be a loved member of our family. I hope that makes all of you as happy as it makes my wife and I. Please bury the hatchet and let me be grateful to Tigger and Natalie and everyone else for their support.
