Can I please see pics of your babies with bangs that still wear bows. Sophie's hair is breaking off and she has little spikey hair that drives me nuts. I have thought about cutting her bangs but leaving hair on top for bows. She just wouldn't be the same without her bows but I can't seem to get her broken hair to grow back out. She cracked her head outside back in the summer and broke her hair really bad right under her bow and it has not been the same since. Thanks for any help. |
Sophie is always immaculate in every picture I see of her. I'm sorry to hear about her top hair. I don't have a girl, her hair is so beautiful. If you cut it does it grow back fast. Sophie without a little on top would still be gorgeous. :littleang |
2 Attachment(s) I am sorry to hear about her hair (and cracked head). He are some shots of Katy from Christmas. One is the front view and one is the side view. I hope this helps. |
Awww, poor Sophie cracker her head! I tried everything with Ginger...but when she had actual bangs I think the top knot looked silly. I'm looking for pics, BUT...lost most mine off my computer so it'll take awhile. of course, Sophie is always so much more "turned out" than Ginger ever was. |
4 Attachment(s) I have a heck of a time with Gracie's hair as well.... no problems on top, but her first mommy cut her down ALL over... including all around her muzzle, eyes and around her face..... it's taking FOREVER to grow back.... it's not even straight but I don't dare touch it. Most of the time, we just brush it out and go.... and hope it comes in a little more every day... but when I do put it up, it doesn't do much good because no matter WHAT I do, ya' still can't see her lil' eyes.... I can't tell you how many times I wanted to take the scissors to her!! If I were you, I wouldn't cut it though... I'd just wait out the "gangly" stage and eventually, it will come back in. You'll have to play the waiting game eventually if you ever want her bangs long again anyway.... either that or continually cut them..... Natalie was VERY thin right on top of her head as well..... I started feeding Wellness "Just For Puppy" dry w/ a little of the wet - - got her on some Missing Link.... started using MinkSheen shampoo and Ice on Ice leave in conditioning treatment and it was really starting to come in beautifully, up top and everywhere else. Here's Gracie.... I use all of the same with her..... she's really "moppy" right now because of the uneven cut and slow growth, but her coat is SO silky and soft.... nice and think at the roots... MUCH happier without the bows... and a couple with her pigtails. |
Thanks you guys. It really scared me when she banged her head but she took it all in stride. Once I realized she was ok I was so upset about her hair breaking. Katys mom That is exactly what I had in mind. I really like it. Does her hair get in her eyes at all without the bow? I was thinking that would be another plus if she didn't have to have a bow all the time around the house. I am so torn. It took me so long to get it grown out. Ugh Decisions:confused: |
When she doesn't wear her bow, her hair will usually fall to one side or the other, not in her eyes. It almost makes a heart shape around her head. |
3 Attachment(s) Attachment 181138 Attachment 181139 Attachment 181140 all have bangs, that way when there hair is not in a top knot, like when one of the others take it out for them, they can still see and I can still see a face. I have one that when the camera comes out the ears go down. once in awhile I catch her off guard..:D pooh's mum |
Mollys hair is going thru a funny stage right now, iam trying to grow out her bangs and put bows in, but when its not i the bow, it falls to the side and parts down the middle, is it suppose to do that?? Karleighs dont, hers stick right up.maybe because the top is to long... |
Pixie has bangs I could put a bow in but it doesn't look right and she looks better without a bow. |
