VIDEO: How well do yorkies get along with cats?
 
The question frequently comes up about how well yorkies and cats get along and of course it depends on the yorkie and the cat, but I captured some video of my cat, Paris, a two year persian, playing with three yorkies! She plays with Hefner every morning and she is a little more intimidated when there are three ganging up on her as we have had lately, but she was game this morning. Hope you enjoy!

The cat is in the second to the last video - adorable. This morning one puppy wanted to play with the cat. I was wishing I had my camera. He had his little butt in the air but was scared to move in. Mr. Black just stared at him, when he would look away, Cuatro would jump forward. He got on his belly and was dragging his back legs behind him. Finally mr black got tired of it and walked over and swatted him a couple of times and left.

I wish my Cat that my boyfriend and i adopted would play with our three furkids.. lol.. I have NO clue how she would react to Oreo & Ginger (them being soo darn hyper/wild)..

But I already know how she reacts to Cloey.. Cloey is scared of my big cat! lol.. any ideas on how to "introduce" them to each other? im totally scared of Deva (our cat) of poking Oreo or Ginger's eyes out :eek:

Deva's personality is very unique (since she was abused before).. She's a very nice cat and very loving.. I just don't know how she will react to the Dogs... especially since they are puppies.. but i want them to get along so that I could let the dogs run around my boyfriends house, instead of staying cramped up in a room all day with us lol :D

Kim, Your babies are just too cute. I love to see them play.

Bella is adorable. I can see she was having fun with Max the cat.

The fourth of July we visited my husband cousin's home, they had 2 dogs and a cat. (Pitbull and rotweiller, not sure about the cat) Anyway, Gucci was so scared, most of the time she was on my lap or inside her carrier. Last nite we went to my husband's friends apt and they have a chihuahua. Once again Gucci was so scared she was on my lap the whole time. The dog was so hyper, I guess he scared her.

That is how Hefner entices Paris! She was always curious about him and she finally started playing after he kept after her. Now she likes it. Thanks for the directions too. I have to figure out how to do just the oen video.... :confused:

I already have one yorkie and a himalayan cat.....I JUST NEED TWO MORE YORKIES!

Hehe! That video is too cute. She was sitting there for a while...she was just jealous and wanted to play, too, haha!

I think my cat Penny, and you guys know how she and Sully play all the time, but I think she'd be intimidated by 2 yorkies let alone 3, haha!!!!
