Those with babies-humans that is For those that have children or niece/nephews, etc. do you let your Yorkie lick their faces? I have a 2 month old niece and we have let the midgets sniff her and they seem to love babies, they get so happy around her. She also lights up when she sees them but my grandma is very old fashioned in a way and thinks it's gross and says we shouldn't let them near her. My Yorkies are very clean. Anyway what do you guys with babies do? |
I have a 2 year old grand daughter and as a baby my daughter would never let any of my dogs around her. So now the 2 year old is scared to death of my dogs (that are all 7 lbs. and under) I keep telling her she should have let them kiss her and be around her when she was tiny, I really feel that is why she is like she is today, she crys and runs away so I always have to put my furkids down for a nap when she comes over. Hopefully she will change someday. |

I really hope she does, cause it is such a pain to put the dogs to bed and sometimes they stay for hours and the dogs really need to go out so my daughter has to hold her until I can get them out and then back to bed. |

I don't usually let any animal lick the face or hands of my babies that small. I am a bit of a finatic when it comes to young babies and cleanliness. I understand that people say that their dogs mouth is clean and all that but when it comes to the health of my babies I don't take any chances. I although don't not keep Lulu or my cat April away from the kids. I just watch the licking. My one year old niece Oliva was over on Xmas day. Lulu played with her and I just made sure that neither of them licked each other..Olivia was trying to French Lulu...lol. |

Tilly always tries to sneak kisses on my son's forehead and he leans back like yuck! Then she goes and lays down. I usually try to keep her away from his face. I just get worried with any germs or anything around him. :p |
