I just thought Yorkies were hyper.... My sister brought her Coton De Tulear puppy for a visit this weekend. Harley was scared stiff of her. She was twice his size. He isn't deterred by size as he enjoys playing with my Chocolate lab. She was the friskiest dog I've ever seen!!! She was jumping all around and trying to get at Harley. I held him the entire time as I'm sure she would have hurt him. I've never seen him be afraid before yesterday. She is very beautiful and her hair is soooo soft. I'm sure she will calm down. Happy New Year!!! |
I've never seen one of those! I'll have to google  Hopefully she'll calm down some as she gets older, so that they can be buddies:) |
I have never heard of that kind of dog. My son has had three "frisky" dogs (personally I think they were NUTS) One was a jack russell and the other two were heelers; one red and one blue. Crazy, crazy dogs. Thank goodness they didn't live with me:D |
I beleive they are like a maltese and bishon, all white and so pretty:) I seen a few on puppyfind while browsing:) |
I just googled them, very pretty. I'm sure with age will come some calmness just ike with any pup |
Awww! She was just sooo excited about the other doggies! I bet she will calm down with age. |
Ohh....I have seen one at the dog park, the owner was really nice explaining the background of the name and breed to us. She said the old biddy's around here that have them gave her a hard time for keeping the coat short, and call theirs "American Cotton" when in reality the name means "Cotton from/of Tuleur(France)". Your sister's puppy probably just exerted all the crazy puppy energy that Harley isn't used to, plus its a new dog in his domain. After a few more visits he should be ok. |
