Washable Pads My puppies are moving the pads around and making a mess of their xpen. Is there a trick to keeping them in place? Thanks |
Not that I know of. I thought about using those rug gripper things, you know, the lacy rubber sheets that you put under rugs to keep them in place? But then I remembered that Izzy tried to eat the ones I had under our throw rugs:laugh: :o I hope someone has an idea, because our pee pads are constantly being moved around when they get the zoomies:laugh: |
Is there any way you can put one corner (or more) under a piece of heavy furniture, table, etc.? You could even put a dining/desk chair on top and the legs will hold it down, but they can still get to the pad. Sorry you are having this problem. Hope this helps. I haven't had much trouble with mine moving the pad around since I changed to the washable pads. If they are in an expen you could make sure part of the pad is under the side of the pen. Maybe you could sew ties on a corner or two and then tie it to the pen? |
There are the pad holders, sold at Petsmart and stores like that. Or, I use to tape them down to the floor (kitchen floor) :) |

I also use the washable. Very good investment. They don't drag them around or tear them up. |
Actually it is the washable ones that they are dragging around. I like your idea little bit to attached ties to the pads. I do put one end under the xpen and also put a box on one side but they still can mess about with it. It would be best to have ties on all 4 corners. Bit of a pain but worth the trouble. Thanks so much for your advice ladies. You're awesome as always. |

You must have some determined little yorkies! Yes, the ties would defintely be the way to go then (unless they chew them off :D). If you buy any pads from me just remind me and I would be glad to add ties to the corners for you. |
