I can't believe PAYPAL.. and I need your help !!
 

Not only did i get scammed by one of the YT member here who posed as a "rescue" they had the nerve to side with the criminal! and I'm still out $500.

I need your help if you are going thru the same thing with the same person. I am turning this into a federal issue. And I need as much help as I can.

Please, if you have purchased any pets from a lady named "Sara" with a phone number of 909-519-6323, please send me a private message! We all need to get in on this! Don't you want your money back? Money you worked hard for only for someone to take it away from you? And get away with it and do it again possibly to you? or someone else?

oh and that b**** excuse my language had the nerve to text me the other night saying she didnt owe me any money because PAYPAL paid me?!!! When she KNOWS damn well SHE has NOT given me my money!

I've posted many times on the horror that is Paypal and how they do not help you. If you paid using a cc or your bank account try doing a chargeback. Paypal would not help me when a scammer got me with a bait and switch puppy(after I returned the puppy). I recovered most of my money but lost $250 after months of trying.

PLEASE do not think that if you pay for a puppy using Paypal that you are safe in any way shape or form. There is some fine print that says that things off of ebay are NOT covered in certain cases. This tends to be one of the loopholes. Also if you made more than one payment for the same item(say you paid a little at a time, they will not cover you..there are all sorts of excuses). NEVER pay with money in your account because that will be gone forever.

Also post anywhere you can about this person(ripoffreport, here, sites that you saw their ads, badbreeder.org) etc. I wish you luck, I know the heart ache of not only not getting the puppy you've dreamed about but then also being out the money you could use to get another one. It's like being hurt twice. My thoughts are with you.

I'm sorry this happened to you. I hope you are able to get things straightened out and get your money back.

Sorry you got scammed. I hope you get your money back soon, and that woman doesn't make anyone else suffer.

I would take her to small claims court...get her name out, let as many people know about her as possible!

back in 2001 we lived in San Diego in Clairmont,and at the time I was looking for a great dane to share our home with. Well I found a add for a 13 month great dane female all black in good health listed on acempet board and on the AOL Great Dane Chat board. for a nice rescue fee of $150. no papers,quess she couldn't steal any. Good with kids,cats and all strangers. Well so I talked to Sarah and wanted to meet and maybe adopt that dog. it was CUJO on a leash. then 19 year old Sarah couldn't walk said dog without a muzzle and it still tried to go thu my door at me. Needless to say she threatened to sue me for not taking my dog. I didn't sign anything or pay her. I had the police remove her and her dog. unforuntely she aslo has a mojor gift of gab and made friends with alot of people I knew just by the net and had them believing I was a horrible person. til she scammed again. that's when someone got hurt. Never knew what happened but my understanding someone got badly hurt by that dog and Sarah again disapeared. Promiseing never to " rescue" again. BS She moved to another area of LA. and started again. my undering froma dective up in SD that they were trying to get her shutdown. She imports out of Mexcio cheap purebred puppies and dogs as a "rescue". Hope you catch her and put her away.
it's been years but that's her all right. but now she's of legal age.

It sounds like you are dealing with someone who is bringing puppies into the US illegally from Mexican puppymills. Inside Edition did a segment on them awhile back:

It sounds like dealing with the federal government is your best recourse.

from what I just saw by your posts - you didn't 'get' a puppy from a member here - you were on another site right ?? Are you saying this person IS a YT Member ?? cause if they are - I hope that gets resolved quick and they get removed from the site

I don't know what happened and am sorry you were scammed BUT - when looking for a puppy people have to be just as careful as if you were buying a car - there's ALWAYS SOMEONE around the corner ready to screw you.

Also - using pay pal and western union are NOT the way to go. I feel bad so many people fall for this kind of thing:( it gives the honest breeders such a bad name
