Signs of teething?
 
It's been a while since I've had to deal with teething puppies and I have a question. Do their ears get red and/or hot/warm when they're teething? I know little kids get hot/warm, red ears when teething but do puppies? The girls' ears are warm and a little red but they're fine otherwise. I've been taping them off an on so that may account for the redness.

Gosh I have no idea, my guess is it may be a little irritation from the taping. I've never noticed any of my dogs ears get hot or red

Just send them those two beautiful girls to me...:D Jazz and CM are teething but I can't tell if there ears are red, but Jazz's ear are going up and down...it may be from taping...I quit trying to tape for awhile till after the teething...sorry I can't help more...but I can if you send me those two beauties:p :p :p

How old is Jazz now? My girls are going on 4 months so they're probably just starting to teeth...they've been chewing a lot though. I think I'll hold off on the tape for a while too.

I may have considered shipping them to you this morning...I think my 'quiet cup of morning coffee' days are done for a while...at least until the girls get a little older!

she is around the same age, and just send them to me, I will be waiting...:D

My girls are teething right now and I haven't noticed their ears being red.. Brooklyn's one ear is warm, the other isn't and Bailey's ears aren't warm at all..

Thank you...they aren't so red today. I think we figured it's from the pink rollers rubbing their ears so we'll give them a little rest and just use tape the next time.

Dixie is 6 months and I just noticed some adult teeth trying to come in but her baby teeth haven't budged.

Sadie's ears are up and down and the breeder told me that can be from teething. I have to tape her ears. I was told that if you don't tape them the cartlige can grow wrong and the ears wont ever go up! I was told tape for three days, then take a break from it for one day. 3 on 1 off..... any one else here this????
