2 lbs at 7 months. How much when full grown? OKay let the betting begin! j/k But seriously all you guys who have raised yorkies what do you expect my baby to max out at? I am just super curious. 3 months ago we guessed between 2-3 lbs. SO since she is 2 lbs now do we think she is almost done or will she double? It has been fun watching her grow. I swear she got 2 inches longer in a week. And I make clothes for her so I keep tab on her measurements! :) |
Shana, did you get her in the DFW area? We are looking to get a little brother or sister for Bux, but I kind of want a smaller puppy this time. He's 5 1/2 lbs full grown. |
I have heard that they are fully grown at 7 months and that further weight is just from eating. I don't know if this is true or if it just makes me sound like an idiot  I would like to know when they are done though. |
Bux is 7 1/2 months and he basically stopped growing about a month ago. He always weighs 5 1/2 lbs when I take him to the vet. I just want to know when the rest of him will turn silver? His head started turning about 2-3 months ago, but then stopped, I found 3 stray silver hairs on his back yesterday. But, since he got a haircut today they are gone....I really want him to turn silver |

I got chloe from a breeder near my house. She too is changing colors on her head. I bought her at 3 months of age and her head was silver. Then it had some rust colored roots. And then it looked like it stopped for a while and now its started back up. She still has a lot of silver in it though. Kinda wierd :) |
Tinkerbell is 6 1/2 months and has weighed 5 lbs for more than a month now. Not even gained an ounce. I have been told that 6-7 months they are done growing, but may fill out a little more. I would think she won't get much bigger at all. You must lose her all the time! She's so little! |
Well, if she is still breeding when we decide to get another puppy, I would love to have her name and number. We got bux from a lady in Tyler, Tx, and although I love him, I really hated the drive! |
I was told that around 7 months, that is about it for growing. She may fill out a little, but not much more than a few ounces. |
Wow i cant believe they stop at 7 months. I swear my min pin doubled in size after a year. And it wasnt fat! Tinky also grew up until a year. BUt they are different breeds. Due to my own weird experience with my own dogs I wouldnt be surprises if CHloe still doubled. :D 2 weeks ago I was making her Xtiny dog clothes(my standards size for a 1-2 lb dog) and I made her and Xtiny coat 2 days ago and it was like 3 inches too short. I was shocked! She has only been wearing dresses so I didnt realize she had gotten so long because my tank dresses are meant to be short on her. But my coats are supposed to go the entire length of the back so I just couldnt believe it. She is like 8 inches long and 8 inches around her chest. Kinda funny! |
Your website is beautiful . |
wow...what a tiny baby! I bet mine is close to being "done" too then...weighing in at 3.5! |
Shes probably done growing. My male is 6 months and hes not growing anymore. |
