Please watch these before you buy your puppy ... Joining the Yorkie Talk forum has given me an incredible education, especially in regards to puppy mills and unscrupulous breeders. I learned that buying a puppy over the internet or through classified ads may also lead you to buying a puppy from a puppy mill. I have learned that people will lie and tell you what you want to hear. Members have taught me that if you want to go the puppy route, you should visit the premises where the puppy has been raised and meet the parents. I thought I would take a moment to post some good videos that I found posted on this forum and also on You Tube. Before you buy a puppy, please take a few minutes to watch these videos. |

This is heartbreaking The good thing is that "some" of these puppy mills are being investigated and hopefully shut down. As painful as it is to see these poor dogs in these conditions the only way to try to put a stop to this is to show these videos. People need to see what really goes on in these mills. There should be country wide legislation and these people should be tried and put in jail for animal abuse. Shame on them for doing these things:mad: and shame on the goverment for not regulating pet shops and puppy mills. |

They are upsetting - I've seen them all in the past years and still get upset knowing its still happening and WILL still happen as long as the government lets it - there is just protection for all the EVIL Puppy Millers who sell dogs like drugs - it's just disgusting. It's up to each person to do what they can to help and educate others on the perils of all the puppy mills AND let's not forget - The PET STORES WHO BUY FROM MILLS ! like Petland. Man I HATE Petland ! |

Oh I feel the pain of those dogs, this was terrible/horrifying to watch, I could not watch all of it. :mad: :mad: :mad: These kinds of people need to go to prison and be locked up for a long long time, :mad: :mad: I bet if stiffer sentencing was done, it would get rid of some. I know not all, these people hide in the country side most times I am sure, as neighbors if they lived close by some one would surely report this before it gets to be like this. :mad: :mad: But stiffer sentencing would help greatly I believe. pooh's mum |
