Nameless new puppy
 
I'm getting my first yorkie this weekend and we can't find a name for her can anyone help!!!?

Congratulations on your new pup. I like the name Briscoe, I loved Jerry Orbach!!! My husband won out in our house and our pup is Chewy. Good Luck.

I suggest you get your baby and try out a few names. She will name herself by her personality and actions..And, CONGRATS, on your new baby..

I agree...You pup will name herself...When I went to get Sammi, I was set on naming the puppy Bailey...Sammi was never a name...and when I saw her for some reason I called her Samantha and then I said EWWW SAMMI!!! I LIKE IT!! :)

Congrat on the new furbaby! I ended getting a boy, so you can have the girl names that we were debating on:

Daisy
Winnie
Ginger
Tawnie
Portia
Zoe

Thanks for your ideas we have been struggling with this for weeks. We've picked out a couple but they just don't fit her personality so we're still working on it.

I was just thinking..can you imagine Britt's Mia having any other name? And, Emmy is so perfect..I cannot imagine my big, bratty nanny having the name Mia..she is a Skylar from the gitgo!! But, lately she has been called Mary Poppins.

Me too!!!! I haven't really watched Law and Order since his last season. I just can't get into the new people. I've become addicted to SVU as a replacement... but it's just not the same :(

But on the topic, I am so sorry I can't help. I am the worst with names. I looked through about 15 websites before Linus stood out at me.

What wonderful news. I agree wait till you get her. We named our's Lady Gwendolyn, but most of the time we call her killer because she barks at everyone that comes through the door.

I'd choose one that goes with her personality also....if she is real spunky and roudy, how about "Tigger"? If she is just too pretty and more lady-like, how about Laycee (Lacey)?

Congratulations on the new baby! I wanted to name my little girl Kailee, but lost to Robyn. I agree, their names do come to you. We usually change a few times before we have to take a vote. I have a boy - teddy bear, which for some reason I want to call him Michael, so I do. It drives my family crazy and they think it is a stupid name for a dog. He will just have to get used to more names, cause I like Michael - but lost in the vote. It is horrible to be the only girl human in the house. MEN!
