Puppies as a fundraiser???? Are there not better ways to raise money than this? http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/...?petid=9861709 |
So sad :( |
Grrr...It looks like they neutered them at 8 weeks or am I reading it wrong? |
That's what I thought, too! but some people thinks it's better to do it early then to do without... http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...ght=fundraiser |
oh, yea! I emailed this lady for them and she coul give me no info on size, health, ect. I was going to St. Louis anyway over the weekend, and she was taking them Fri to get fixed- she had a litter of 6 donated to them by a breeder, they had helped out with older dogs! she told me that the price was a tax deduction! I told her I hoped the people that got them were screened carefully, because if they were tiny, they require a lot of care! The females were all gone before they got them spayed! |
the females were $800 each!- in StL. no papers, even though they could of been registered, but since through shelter! I imagine the breeder got a good tax deduction, also! But it does go tohelp the shelters take care of dogs that are not finding homes- thats a good thing! |
I really don't see anything wrong with it as long as the puppies received all of the same care as any other dog in rescue. Shots, wormings, spay/neuter. And as long as the rescue screened applicants in the same manner. Personally, I would rather give the money to a rescue than a questionable breeder. Just my opinion. |
