Zoey has a lump She has had a small soft lump on her belly, near her ribs and it is about dime size. I will try to get an apointment on Fri. Has anyone else had something like this? It does not have any color, so wouldn't show on a picture. |
Only after a rabies shot.But it could be a insect bite. Try and watch to see if it itches or if its painful to touch. |

Chip had a lump one time. I freaked out and rushed him to the vet and $127 later and a week of worrying I found out it was caused by a vaccine and it went away on it's own. Does it seem to be hurting her any? |

It doesn't seem to hurt her. She hasn't had any shots lately. |
One of Edie's "floating ribs" sticks out a little on one side, and you feel a bony bump that is the end of the rib. It sort of startled me the first time I felt it, but then I figured out what it was. The vet noticed it too. It is not a big deal--it is what it is. Maybe this is what Zoey has? |
Rosi had a lump like that on her back last yr, i had it removed and the test came back begnign. |
I found a small, soft lump on my Bichon boy's tummy a couple of weeks ago. It didn't hurt him and he didn't pay any attention to it. It was just a soft little lump. I didn't know what it was and thought it could be a hernia, so took him to the vet. She said it was just a fat deposit and teased Cosmo about getting fat. Cosmo is all muscle at 12 pounds. I had never seen anything like it before. |

Zoey is ok. Her vet who I love said it is a very tiny hernia not big enough to do anything about. He said a piece of fat got caught in her spay incision and that is what we are seeing. We need to watch to make sure it doesn't get bigger. He also loved their Christmas dresses. |
