I feel like such a loser haha Lilly is seriously like my kid, it's funny yet sad. I've been looking at pictures of how much she's grown and I'm just like :(. I remember when I wanted her to be bigger so I could take her everywhere, now I just want it to slow down! She's started losing her teeth :( and I just now picked 2 up off the floor and I'm going to save them for her scrapbook, is that crazy? I hope not, if it is then I guess I'm crazy :p. Anyway, quick question... do they lose their canine teeth (I think that's what they're called)... the really sharp ones. I hope so because those are the ones that hurt when she's nibbling on my feet wanting my socks off. Tell me some cute stories that show how crazy you are about your furbutts and make me feel a little more normal. |
LOL..they do grow up fast! I remember finding a tooth in my car one time! I think it's awesome you're keeping a scrapbook. I used to scrapbook when I was in highschool but when I got Lacy I was in college and didn't have the time to scrapbook. I don't even have that many baby pics of her :( The canine teeth fall out too and are replaced by adult canines. Those baby teeth are needle sharp! The canines sometimes take the longest to fall out on their own and are usually the most commonly retained. Lacy had to have all 4 of hers pulled because they didn't fall out on their own. |
Zoeybear has a babybook with her teeth in it too.:) |
I didn't save any puppy teeth...any teeth that aren't in a mouth gross me out lol...but my sister saved her dog's so you are not alone. :D I do still have Gus' first toy bunny that has been torn to shreds. It's a mess. He can no longer play with it but I can't get rid of it. It reminds me of bringing him home and that he was about the same size as the tiny toy. |

Oh and another question, is it odd for them to lose like 2-3 in one day? My boyfriend was alarmed when I bent over and picked up 2 teeth. I mean, do they lose them pretty fast or is she losing them TOO fast? |

She probably had several very loose teeth and something she did (maybe eating or chewing on something) finally caused them to fall out. |
Girl, you're not crazy, if you are then i am too:p i saved Teddy's first teeth and put it in his scrapbook in a tiny ziplock bag. I also have Sophie's that her previous owner sent to me and London's i was trying to find but they fell out and got lost somewhere. London's canine teeth haven't fallen out and she's a yr, im going to have them taken out when she gets spayed. |
I never saved teeth but I have cried when look back at pictures:) |
At what age are they done with teething?...I have a acquintence/friend who's Yorkie is over a year and her Yorkie breath is still horrible. Is he still teething? |

Can you guys share some ages. Korki is 6 mo old and has a snarly mouth of teeth. I'm not sure if she's lost any or not. I'm not sticking my fingers in there to find out. She'll chew on anything or anyone. We have an appointment Sat to see the vet about her teeth. Her breath is pretty bad too. Please share ages when they lost their teeth and and other noticable symptoms. THANKS! |
