Well I am doing something wrong Is it possible I am giving her too much dermapet and that is cause her hair to be oily? She looks awful....don't know what is worse, the thin hair or the oily hair. UGH!!! |
Yes, I think giving too much fish oil can make their hair get oily. When I first started giving Lacy eicosaderm, her hair seemed to get a little oiler than normal, but it stopped after a couple weeks. But it never got that oily |
How old is she? I swear my Tink went through a stage of having the oilest hair ever, like around a year old. She always looked gross. |
she is 10 months and I am really beginning to worry about her hair. It has never been thick. Always had that baby fine hair....but it is thin enough now to see her skin....almost scary after a bath and there is not much hair on her little head! And I just gave her a bath Saturday and already looks oily. I only give her about 4 drops of the Dermapet....maybe should cut back to every other day? There is no other signs of skin problems so I don't know what is going on! |
Maybe cutting back is a good idea. If you keep having problems I'd call the vet, and check with them. |
