This is soooo sad....Carlie was so ill looking, I don't see how it wasn't obvious to the breeder....what a shame.....I hope she gets the proper care for her... I don't know why the breeder didn't post current pic's when she listed them in the for sale thread .......I came across this listing on 10/25/07 and it's the same pic's ... .... http://www.katyyardsales.com/item.jsp?itemId=4585487 |
I am so sorry about your baby. She does look really sick in the want ad. Things like this is what can happen when just anybody is allowed to come and make one post and it be a for sale ad. Apparently, as long as your puppies for sale are ten weeks old, there are no other restrictions. I wish I had an extra puppy, I would let you have it in a heartbeat. You have been thru so much and I am so sorry. |

To the OP..I am SO SO sorry you are going through this..I can't imagine what it's like.. And the poor baby having to live with worms in her belly like that..what an awful feeling! :( :( |
I feel so bad for you. To wait for a baby then be excited to receive it and have to return it within 24hrs. must be heatbreaking. Meeting in Walmart is questionable but possibly understandable. With all the break ins and Yorkies being stolen I would think possibly she did not want anyone to know where she lived. But to sell a baby full of worms with an ear infection, sorry, she had to know it. For that, I think this person can not be trusted. In not being honest she caused you and your husband unnessary pain and grief. I hope she reads these posts and learns the meaning of honesty. I do hope little Carlie gets better. Poor baby. This too is unnessary. Take her to the vets and have her ear taken care of and have her wormed. Carlie and anyother puppy does not deserve to be treated like this. |
I hope she gets better and all works out for the best. |

Thank You so much for all your words, yes she didn't want me to find out where she lives, she used that excuse about her house getting remodeled:confused: So I gues I did believe her, but you are right she must have them living in filth for that poor baby to have her ears that way I mean it was BAD, also all those worms:( It makes me so sad to think how they are eating her inside out, when it all could've been prevented for a small fee:(. I read some of her adds in the newspaper and it sounds like they are having a hard time with money, and she does have 3 kids(they could have worms too ). I do not think she is too evil either since she was very quick to give me my money back:confused: that's what had me so confused about the whole situation, she genially looked worried about carlie:(, but then again I find that I am in the same situation, I am a mother of 3, I dont work and my husband is in the Army so we dont get paid that much, now when Tinkerbell got pregnant, I did all the necesary check ups on her and on the babies by my vet, when it was time for the babies to find a forever home, I had to problem having them picking them up in my house and I also recommened that they keep taking them to my Vet, it was not that hard to share all that information with the new owners because I wasn't in it for the money it's just that she had all 3 males, and I've been dying for another little girl to love and spoil:( Obviously I was so desperate that I fail to see all the red flags being waved at me...............and when I held carlie, not for a moment did I think she was that ill:( , I figured I would bring her home, bath her and then the next day take her for a regular check up to my vet......but it was the worse:( As much as it hurt me to give her back, it was the right thing to do considering that she was very sick, and exposing my family(Tinkerbell and Chiquito) included. Tinkerbell and Chiquito have never had much as a flea or any other infestations, Tinkerbell has allergies but she is not contagious:( Thanks, Mickie |

You are so sweet, You dont know what my heart has suffered with all the deception. |
I think that if she is remodeling her home to the point she couldn't get to the registration papers to give you, she shouldn't have been having a litter(or litters for all we know) of puppies...I'm sure 2+ months ago, she knew her house was going to be going thru construction/remodeling. i can't imagine that is a good environment healthwise for newborn puppies to be in anyway... Hope Carlie gets better and is able to find a home eventually...are you going to check back in on Carlie periodically? Sorry you had to go thru that. I'm sure we can all relate to the excitement prior to receiving a new baby! |
