That is what I thought too, I thought maybe in a few days she would start looking for lively but it will be a while for her to get better:(

Is the breeder working with you? Will you get your money back? I went to look at the pics and her coat just looks really weak, It's not a full looking puppy coat.
I'm sorry though, I know how attached we get, and it's so hard to let them go. Wish I could give you a hug.

As some of you know, Tinkerbell had a litter of 3 boys back in Aug, 19th. And at first I was going to keep Teddy, but what I really wanted was a girl, now I am not a breeder but I did my very best to take good care of these little puppies, they were always healthy, except one time Oreo got constipated, but I took him to the vet and he was ok. All 3 of my boys found wonderful new families, Thank GOD!! I dont regret finding homes for my boys as I did want a girl, but I never thought I was going to get hurt:( :(

Was the breeder taking her to the vet to see what is wrong with her? I sure hope it is nothing to serious nor contagious.

What exactly was wrong with her? You never did say, other than the low blood sugar episode.

I sure hope didn't infect your other dogs with anything.

The lady was very understanding of the whole situation, she did give me my money back though. She said it wasn't about the money, I believe her, she seems very caring about her. I am so confused because of all the issues carlie has:( :( I want to believe her soooo bad that she didn't do it intentionally but it is hard to overlook all these illnesses:( :( After only having her a couple of hours I knew something was wrong:( :( Poor little angel I just want her to get better:(

The power of prayer is a miracle. Lil Carlie will definitely be in mine, along with you. I hope you get to feeling better, just think, she is back with her momma, hopefully momma will make her better.

Yes, she said she was taking her today.......She never came in contact with Chiquito or Tinkerbell, because they were confused and kept barking at her so I kept them separated. I was so scared for my babies:( :( I hope she was not contagious:confused: :(

Unless it's airborn, because she never came in contact with them, she even slept by her self in an xpen:(

i understand

your kind of wondering how you only had her a few hours and you seen it so how could the breeder have not seen it? Even though you felt she really cares for the babies. your indifferent on how to think about it.

Exactly, she just seems like a nice person, who cares about her little dogs, but believe me you couldn't miss the sypmtons:confused: :(

Awwwww...so sorry sweetie!!! I know your heart is broken but you did the right thing. It sounds like you kinda knew from the time you got her that something was not quite right. I thought the pictures that you posted of her were really cute.
I hope you are feeling better and I am saying a little prayer for you and the sick furbaby!!!!! Big hugs!!!!!!!!!

I can tell that everyone is trying to state their thoughts lightly so as to not hurt your feelings. However, I'm very upfront. I would never trust this breeder. She says they were current on their vaccines and wormings. That puppy should have been checked over thoroughly by a vet before it ever left her home. You still haven't said what was wrong with the puppy. It needs to be known so that others won't make this same mistake. Also, if this puppy walked around your home, it could have in fact infected your other dogs.

Please don't feel sorry for this breeder. She should have known better. I'm sorry that you were the one that was affected by it. Hopefully she can be stopped before she continues to breed sick puppies.

I talked to her via email but nothing was set on stone, then I emailed her on sunday and you know the rest:(

I dont feel sorry for her, but I am unsure if she did this intentionally, you know?, She says she does the shots herself on all the puppies. She didn't really do much walking at all, that was part of the problem, she walked very little, she was too weak from all the diarriah:( :(. She was very low on sugar but I think it was because she had anemia:( , from all the worms in her belly, it was sooooooooo obvious she had them as they were moving in her poo:eek: :eek: I have a very weak stomach:( Also when I cleaned her ears, it was almost like she had a pound of dirt in each little ear:eek: maybe she never cleaned them:confused:. I washed everything she touched with bleach and in HOT water. She also had a gooey eye, maybe an infection:confused: SOoooooooo many things, poor baby:(

so sorry your baby got (was) sick :( i cannot imagine how much that must hurt :(

at least she is back with her fur mommy and maybe can get better...i am glad you have your other babies to comfort you and your hubby!! saying prayers for you and carlie!!
