4 Attachment(s) Welcome to YT! What color is your puppy. Some of them do have a little longer nose than others and my furbabies ears didn't stand up until he got a little older, sometimes if they have to much hair on the ears they won't stand up. You can cut the hair on their ears to help them stand up better.. Did you get to see the parents of your puppy it also depends on genetics alot too.. Some of the other girls maybe able to help you too. I will send a picture of Otis for you to see... |

You can do things to straighten the ear: 1. Feed her cottage cheese to get the calcium level up. 2. Shave the ears (carefully with a very fine bladed trimmer because a nick will last forever in the ear cartilage). 3. Tape the ears up with medical grade bandage tape. |
Here's another pic of Buttercup 1 Attachment(s) here's another pic of Buttercup she is 12 weeks and 6days |

Welcome to yt, buttercup looks yorkie to me:) she is sweet:) |
She's got a pretty little face. Remember not all yorkies will be able to hold their ears up. If you bought her as a pet that is what she is. We as show breeders will sometimes have a pup with ears larger and that is why we put them in pet homes. I have a pure bred yorkie that is on the larger side her muzzle is longer than normal but I assure you she's a purebred due to the fact her parents are both champions and have many champions in their lines and the father has been DNA'd. I also had a yorkie pup that couldn't get one ear up. You love them and cherish those guys. Donna Bird Brooklynn's Yorkshire Terriers |
My little Rocky's ears never went up. It seems there were always, 1/2 way. But he is my little angel, and I would not trade him for all the money in the world. He is my sweetheart, with different ears. Love her for what she is. Your baby. You will get so much love in return. Enjoy Buttercup, and Welcome. dar. |
welcome to yt..our baby is tooo cute:) |
Thanks to everyone for the good advice...Buttercup means the world to me and i wouldnt trade her for the world.. |
new baby I have one yorkie who has the floppy ears and one whose ears stand up...both teapots (I guess..10# and 8#)...one silver and one red/silver...wouldn't trade either of mine...your baby is perfect. roxanne |
Buttercup is adorable!! When the ears are a little larger, I think they look better down. They have such a cute face and sometimes up ears change that, especially if the ears are larger. She looks all yorkie to me, and a precious one at that.:) |
