I Am So Disappointed I Could Just Cry
 
I took Lil' Miss Izzie to Petco yesterday to have her very first picture taken with Santa Claus....well the photographer took her pic then I had to go up to the front of the store to pay for it and bring my receipt to the back of the store where the pic was taken to get the picuture. I stopped and purchased a couple bags of dog food and a few other xmas toys for Izzie and then went back to get the picture....When I got back to pick it up I noticed that on the top of the pic (which was a polaroid pic) there was a shiny spot at the top and you couldn't even make out that it was my lil one in the pic...actually you couldn't even see any dog at all......I just keep telling myself that it all went to a good cause to help the dog rescue here in California, but still I am very dispointed in my PetCo.... Thanks for lettting me vent.....

Im so sorry that happened, I can try and fix it for you if you want. Ill need a pictures of her too thou.

i would have given it back to them and told them it didn't develop right. its not fair you didn't get a nice picture.

What a dissappointing end to a fun filled afternoon. If the $$ was a donation to a rescue, then count yourself as some poor pup's hero for caring enough to donate your time (standing in line) and $$ to help out.

Maybe you can schedule a photo at the mall with the "Real Santa".

Just a thought...but next time take her to the mall Santa. You're much more likely to get a picture you love.

Don't you get a chance to "approve" the picture before purchasing it? That is a shame.:sad:

I thought of doing this since our closest petco or petsmart is an hour away and my mall office told me nooooooo way, so there went that idea for me :thumbdown

I know youare disapointed and I dont blame you but I wanted to let you know I have never got a good picture from those places. Go to the mall youll get a great picture

i am not sure if my petco pic were for rescue...but as soon as i saw santa i left. the background and costume were so cheesey. The young kid looked like a kid playing dress up. they had fake green turf on the floor that the dogs bunched up like silk fabric.. so bad.
hope you can get better pics elsewhere

Awwww- did you buy the picture ? If you did - maybe I could fix it up for you in my photo program and at least you'll have SOMETHING to show for your money -

they should have re-done it for you FREE - that's just not right - they're susposed to be professionals

Our malls have specific dates for pet pictures...one does it after hours...so it's just pet pictures. The one I went to does it during normal hours....so my babies were the only ones with fur in line.

I have a friend who doesn't wait for a specific date...she just takes hers in and she has labs...so there isn't any sneaking them in.

Maybe Villette can fix it up for you and then you'll have the picture you wanted. :D

I know...this happened to me too...I went to Petsmart with Chloe to have her first santa pic taken.....the pic wasn't great....red eyes and she looks soo small!! The santa was too skinny to even be a santa and he looked sad too!! Oh well....since the $ went to pet rescue..i didnt really compliant much...but I am definitely taking chloe to the mall and have her take pic with the "real" santa....from the mall!!

I definitely would not have accepted a picture I wasn't happy with.

We took Toby and Shelby Rose to Petsmart for their picture with Santa and they kept asking us several times if we were happy with the picture or not and they'd be happy to take another if we weren't satisfied.

If you pay for it, you deserve to be happy with the results or they can redo it until you are.
