Hi there! My Gizmo is 13 weeks and is alreadt 5 pounds! Go teapots!!!! Once I figure out how to put pics on there, I will surely add them! |
Gina thank you for requesting to see the Teapots. It's always so much fun to see them all in one thread. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy for the biggies.:p |
Snickers is 7.5 months old and is already 8.5 lbs maybe more. I am so glad he is big. He was a gift and if I had to choose the breed at the time I would have never picked a Yorkie. I just thought they were way too small and fragile. I have a 3 girls under the age of 7 and a large Boxer full of energy, so I was afraid that a small dog would not work out. Snickers was 3 lbs at 8 weeks and gets bigger every month. I joke about how lucky I would be if he would reach 30 lbs without being fat, guess that would never happen. Anyway, Snickers is not fragile at all he is so sweet and such a strong little boy. I would love to have another yorkie only if I knew it would be another teapot.:) |
3 Attachment(s) I had a 3 pounder & he was very fragile, I wanted a Yorkie & didn't know at the time that I could get bigger than the "breed standard". My Babsy will be 4 on January 1 (my New Years baby) and she is weighing in at 11.5lbs right now but, she just had puppies 3 1/2 weeks ago so she is still carrying a few extra pounds. She isn't an overeater so I expect her to get back down to her dainty 9lbs when she weans. #1 in her favorite spot on top of the couch cushion #2 enjoying a meal 6 days before she had the puppies #3 getting ready to chase my son because he took her ball |
1 Attachment(s) Oh & even though the sire of the puppies is 5 lbs we are pretty sure Edison here is going to follow her footsteps size wise, my husband has nicknamed named him Chunk & Wideload:)...he is the wider backend on the left |
I love yorkies all sizes... Who WOULDN'T love this breed because of their size??? Look at their faces.. they have LOVE written all over it... When having a baby up for adoption I always get people asking do you know what size they will be... I dont guarantee size at all.. Since Im not god well??? People ask do you know what color the pup will be when grown... Since Im not god well???? But even having the parents right there I dont predict it. Because I have had little parents that have had a couple in their litters that the baby have grown up to be big yorkies.. So I tell people that they have had big pups in the past but I dont know WHICH one will be big.. But they end up LOVING them whole hearted:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D and thats all that matters:thumbup: |
2 Attachment(s) Smokey is about 10-11 lbs and still has about 2 more lbs to go. Chip is borderline teapot and is 8 lbs, but he's short and stocky so he doesn't look like he's that big. |
