It's me...Villette - you probably know I've been playing around with different frame programs - noooo kidding huh ?:D

I wanted to tell you that this morning - my pictures were all up on the screen - my husband happened back here where I sit - and noticed your little Melly Jean the Chi pic - and also Melly with Schatzie - and stopped what he was doing.

HE was totally in AWE of these pictures and started asking questions about the dogs in the photos - he sees me working on pictures ALL the time so this was new.

I REALLY think you or your daughter could enter these in magazines of contests - I don't mean in the frames - just as is - they're soooo perfect - The first one is a WORK OF ART - I did play around with it but the original could WIN !

I would ask Lisa - Carters mom about these pics ...she's a professional photographer but I happen to think these photos are special

Those pictures are so great! I agree with Vilette, you should enter the photos in a contest. They are perfect pictures! Maybe you could enter them in the DogFancy Best Dog Photo Contest! They would definitely win!

Thanks Chachi ...I didn't do anything - :) The frames only enhance great shots - that first one looks like a painting !

Sheryl -- these would be great images to submit to contests that you can find. They are both superb! They would make a great addition to calendars especially!

I'm just remembering a pro photographer from one of my forums . . . she photographed her dog with a funny hat on (if I'm remembering the photo correctly). She sent the photo to a greeting card company and now its out in publication!

The first image would be great for a greeting card!

Coming from you Lisa - THANK you !! and it's great to have a Pro give her opinion :) - I just stared at those pics when I worked on the frames and kept thinking ...awesome.

Everybody, a warm thanks!! Midge5353 - thank you for giving me the link to check out the contest. Do you all think these pic's need captions for the contest?? Hmmm, I've never entered in anything like this.

Vilette - You are so sweet and words cannot express my thanks to you for taking the time to alter the pics with your frames.

Too bad...I read some of the rules on the photo contest and this is part of what it says...

• Photos must be prints from a print developer. We cannot accept color copies, digital images, or printouts of digital images on photo paper. Aim for a well-lit, sharply focused closeup.


Unfortunately these two prints are digital so not allowed.

I would think that you would only need to go to Walmart or Walgreens to get a print made in the photo lab to submit. They don't want color copies such as those that could be made on a color copy machine or a print from your home printer.

You'll be fine with a lab print from one of the local photo labs.

I agree with Carters Mom. You can go to Walgreens, WalMart, etc. and take your digital camera's memory card. You put it in one of the machines and choose the photos you want to print. They are developed just like regular photos in a lab. I am sure they would accept them. I think they mean they don't want pictures printed off of your computer. Good luck!

They are WAY cheaper! And usually the pictures will be done by the time you are finished shopping! They have everything right there to do the processing!

And I KNOW you're going to want extras for your daughter! LOL
