Cabin fever I think my dogs are going stir crazy. They obviously haven't been going out as much and as long as during the summer. They are going crazy and so am I. :droolin:  It's been pretty cold for them - last night below freezing. I have said, "NO" more times than I can count in the past couple of weeks. It seems like they are all out to get me.:( They have plenty of toys that they DO play with but they have found so much to get into that they never have before. I put Jolie in her crate when I had to leave this morning. I have to put a lock on it cause she's an escape artist. I came home and found her in her crate but she had pulled electrical cords into her crate. I never even realized that she would be able to reach them. She destroyed the power cords to Game Cube and Super Nintendo. She utterly decimated a controller cord and she also destroyed the whole hook up thing for the TV. The cords were plugged in!!!! She could have electrocuted herself. They just have so much energy that they don't know what to do, and I have a horrific headache.:( I hope spring comes soon.... |
It doesn't get that cold here, but it rains a bit. When Chuy gets cabin fever in situations like that, I like to turn the music up and play run around the couch. We chase one another around and around, sometimes turning back on the other one like BOO...I GOT YOU! It's a lot of fun, and after about 15 minutes or so, he's tuckered out and ready for a nap. Not to mention it's decent exercise for me, lol. We do this a couple times a day, and it seems to work when he can't go outside and run off that excess energy. If it's too cold to bundle them up and take them outside, try playing chase. We love it! Tonya |
We don't have to worry about it getting to cold here. Just getting too darn hot. |
