Thank you all!!! 3 Attachment(s) A few days ago I was very upset cause my vet told me that his ears won't stand up cause they are to big. So I found here very good advices about this. So, I took a decision: I shaved his ears and surprise: they are up!!! I am so so happy and thanks to all of you! |
they look great, and he's definitely a little doll..time to change vets:D |
Way to go  He's adorable :) |
Oh my goodness is he cute or what!!!! |
He is adorable! |
What a cutie:D! I'd be looking for another vet, if it was me:( If he doesn't know about the ears, what's going to happen if there is an emergency?!?! He may not be very good with small breeds, and if so, you don't want to find that out the hard way,, like I did. My old vet pretty much killed my Starr:cry: Sorry to be so morbid, just don't want to see anyone else lose their dog to a less than wonderful vet:( |
Yahhh He is so cute:) happy for you;) |
2 Attachment(s) It is amazing how that works!!!! My Buddy's ears recently started to droop. I trimmed this ears and guess what? They perked right back up too!!!! See the before and afters ...these pictures were taken a couple of days apart!!! |

Insanely cute!!!!! |
He looks great! Congrats!! |
He is sooooooooo cute! Don't be surprised if they go up and down for a while - Mckenzie's did this for a few months, one would be up then one down, lol.. then eventually they just stayed up all the time! :) |
AW... he's so cute! They go down at times during their teething stages... Goodluck with your baby! |
aww what a cutie!! His ears look great! :) |
Well, that may just go to show that not all vets know every detail about every breed. Just because he doesn't know about shaving the ears (which is really kind of a groomer's thing to know), doesn't mean that he doesn't know how to treat this certain breed. I do recommend talking to him more to find out his extent of knowledge but I don't think you should dump this vet JUST based on the ear shaving issue. By the way, adorable baby!! |
He looks great. I'm glad all the advice helped you. |
Yea, a couple of my dogs have ears that I have to shave quite often or they flop right down. I le my Trixie's ears get to heavy with hair when she was younger so now one ear is up and one is down. So it's best to keep them trimmed. Your dog is sooo cute, and his ears aren't big at all! |
He is gorgeous:aimeeyork  |
awww he is so adorable!!! |

that's great! I know how you feel. My Bengi's ears were down when he was more than 12 weeks old, and the vet told me "some have their ears up some don't" But I didn't stay with that, I did some research, so I shaved the ears and taped them and after a week they were straight up!!!! :) |
I had a vet tell me that just stroking the ears in an upward direction sometimes stimulates them to "come up". When I got Mika, she was having none of that, would not be still and kept trying to bite your hands....now Kaya was a different story as she was a love bunny, and the ear stroking was soothing to both her and me. After only two days of this, her ears came up, and she was the most precious thing. |
:aww he looks great... that lil fluff ball must of had so much hair it was weighing them down. what cute lil guy :) good job  |
How frekin cute that baby is. How old is he?:aimeeyork :aimeeyork |
My little boy... Now he has 3 months and 2 weeks. I got him when he had only 7 weeks... I never thought that a dog can change my life so much. Since I got him I never was upset, my days are just full of joy and happiness. I can not imagine the house without him.... Paco is my "little sun"... |
What a cutie! :) |
