Teething So Kaya is in Chicago now with her new family and chewing up a storm. I have become paranoid since reading this forum and don't go out and buy just anything. So can you tell me what is safe for the baby to chew on???? I heard some bad things about that jerky stuff and rawhide chews right??? |
We always used Nylabones but with supervision so they don't eat them. They make an edible Nylabone but I've never tried them. I keep plenty of toys around that have different feels and textures...just make sure they're 'puppy safe' before you give them to the puppy. I remove all tags or yarn like extensions, no plastic eyes or noses. They also make a 'chilly bone' that you wet and put in the freezer but my boyz never liked them and they were quite messy. Definitely no Greenies or rawhide. |
I've always used C.E.T. Chews...they are specifically made with a special enzyme....to aid in keeping teeth clean and assist with their chewing instincts....You can purchase them through AnimalRevival.com....this along with the toothpaste made by the same manufactorer. |
thank Thank you I will get some for Mika as well. |
Nylibone is what I use but I always watch them carefully, the edibles crumble to much and I always worry about them. The all natural beef tendons are great the one I get they don't smell likt the bulli ones. |
I use nylabones under supervision. They really work great on their teeth. |
Bullysticks are good |
