I have a Missy and I dont want to confuse them...lol:D
I have been taking her out to go pee and she like to roll over and sit in your lap. I redid my Nursery page to add her pic..but I have not added it yet.. Been looking at her curled up..She watches tv..:eek: gets up on commericals streches and comes back then sits down,... this is to funny.. she just needs love:D

What if you name her after the lady who passed away? It would be a nice tribute to her...

That's a really good thing you are doing to help her out.
I pm'd her already and said HOPE would be a perfect name and then find your post too :) I am so hopeful that this little one will find her forever home and that precious little face will be beaming with happiness, she looks so sad. I felt so sad looking at the pictures and look forward to viewing some later with a beaming happy look on that precious little face.

I spoke with the son and he said No.. Just give her a new name or let the family pick her a new name.. I will respect his wishes... But that would have been great.

Porr baby! What is her name ,doesn't anone know? Maybe the neighbors,friends. I wonder how old she is.Good luck in finding her a home.

Well from what I know is this lady was a loner.. She lived a apartment and didnt have any friends.. the neighbors didnt know she had a dog and the landlord?? The son didnt say much last night. He just said he would be in touch with me, I what it sounds like is he & his mom were NOT on GOOD TERMS at all.. :( :(

poor sweet baby... my thoughts and prayers are with your friends family... If My mom would hurry with her fence so i can send her my Boxer i would see if i could have her.. but 4 dogs is to much for my lil home lol im pushin it with 3.. But its a yorkie baby im sure he/she will be easy to find a home

Hope is a great name, or Grace - because she needs hope and it was grace that brought her to you.

Maybe the son will come across papers for this dear girl when he goes thru his mom's things. That way maybe you can find out how old she is and maybe who the breeder was.

She needs some sweet loving, wish I could give her a hug.

What a sad looking little girl...I hope someone from YT can adopt her..any idea of how old she might be? Does she still have baby teeth? How much does she weigh?

Yes she does still have her baby teeth..


She appears to be 4-5 months and weights 4-5 lbs

You are an angel to bring her in and give her a home with love and support. I'm sorry that you are unable to keep her.:( If I was on the west coast, she would have a new home in a heartbeat. You can tell in the pics that she is really sad and misses her mommy. I like the name Hope, but she really looks like a Sadie to me. Good luck on finding a new forever home for her. Keep us updated on her spirits.

I like the name Grace!! I was thinking about that name for her also. You are such a wonderful lady to save this baby!! So sad she was alone for 2 days!! Good luck finding her a forever home. Please keep us posted!!

Ohhhh... I love that baby! Are her ears down or just cowed down from fright? I hope you find a really good home for her. She deserves it after that.... how long was the lady gone?

:D Ok so I have been calling her Hope. :D
She looks over at me like MY name is NOT HOPE...LOL

But for now it is:D So I think she will make someone a great pet. Whoever is going to be her forever family I will let them know what I have been calling her and HOPE that they keep her name. :D With this little female for some reason I am finding it hard to put a price on her. I have been puzzled.. and everyone that has asked me her price I dont know what to tell them. What do you all think, I have never had to consider a price for a puppy that the money was going towards someones funeral expenses and or her former owners bills or ?? KWIM?? But I know there will be a deposit of $150 for spaying the pup that her new owner will get back once I get proof from the vet she has been spayed.. What do you guys think?

Well I have thought about Hope's price and it will be $450. that includes a Deposit of $150 for her spay deposit.. Once she is spayed her new parent will get that back. So her price will be $300.. I think that is fair. :)

Good luck in finding her forever home. I like the name Hope, it is really fitting for her at this time...are you having her spayed prior to going to a new home, that might be a good idea since she will feel comfortable with you...for then starting at a new home again, it may be postponed...just a suggestion, then what the spay costs, it gets paid and the balance goes to the ladies son...pooh's mum

Oh my goodness! I feel so bad for her... I would take her in a heartbeat if I were closer. Something about her sad eyes just pulls at my heartstrings. Please keep us posted. Is she good with other dogs?

That poor little baby, Bless her heart, What she must of went through those two days must of been a long time to her. I wish I had the money I would get her in a heartbeat. Ill pray that she finds her forever loving home, I love the name hope for her.

Thanks everyone Hope is perking up, I had to go outof town for a family emergency and had to leave her with my hubby.. She WAS NOT THRILLED, understandable but I had to.. I know she will happy to see me on the 19th that when I return home.. I felt BAD for leaving her:(
