I can always tell when its bedtime because all my babies curl up on my lap and go to sleep. Its my favorite time of the day-or night.
I wish I slept as soundly as my babies do.

I can tell it's bedtime when Archie has a burst of energy and starts getting into things -- then he suddenly throws himself into his bed and goes to sleep or he jumps into my lap and goes to sleep. But FIRST he has to hump his blankie and try to climb under the couch and pretend to chew on the edge of the coffee table and hunt for dust bunnies under the TV stand and chew his Nylabone dental chew and stand in the middle of the floor barking at me for no reason. THEN he can go sleepy-time!

Yes every night about the same time they climb up on the bed, and put down their little heads for a good nights sleep with me crunched in the middle.

I know how you feel. We co-sleep with our 15 month old son, so when Daddy's home (he works out of town during the week) I have to share our bed with him, Donovan (my son) AND Chuy. To be so little, it's Chuy and Donovan that take up the most room. And to OP, I know it's bedtime for Chuy when I decide I need to do something important, cause that's when he wants to get on my chest or in my lap and go to nappy's house.

Mine all know nap time and bed time:) they take there naps with me, kinda krammed with 4 babies and me on the couch, At night they go in there own beds;)

My little Logan scraches on the bed to make a hole - I tell him - "are you dinning to go to China?" after he make his spot - bang dodo until 6:00 a.m. for pipi run!!!:D

Bruiser starts begging to go to bed at 8 and I finally say "Ok, go night-night" and he scurries up the stairs into the bed. Marcus on the other hand will fall asleep in my lap and then we'll go to bed. That's when he decides its time to pounce on brother, dive bomb off the bed, and terrorize my husband in general. It's too funny, he goes from a peaceful sleeping angel to wild raving tazmaninan devil. After a while, I hold him down to cuddle and he gets the point and settles down for the night.
