Here is our little Cindy with her Mom 2 Attachment(s) Posha who died just 24 days from her 18th birthday two yrs ago.. We are happy to anounce her daughter pictured with her Cindy turned 18 on Nov 15th of this yr...Yeah~~!!.. These were my original lines I started with.. Cindy had a thyroid condition and never did develope a good coat but the line has beautiful coats.. there for she was not kept as a breeding dog as she was also too small.. My friend Beverly says shes doing great but sleeps alot.. If I were over one hundred yrs old I'd sleep alot too..:D But she if very clean and goes out side to potty and needs no help so far in just taking care of herself.. Bev says she hops up the steps like a dog of a much younger age.. Vets can hardly believe how good she is.. Her mom at 17 going to new vet after examining her asked her age and when Bev told her he wouldn't believe her.. She had all her teeth and still could see good and getting around just fine.. I'm hoping to see her daughter get to 20... or more... My Mic and Bumbie go back to these dogs... We have a number of dogs well into their teens people have bought from us.. This makes me so happy as it's such a loss when you loose one and they are young... A yorky under 10 yrs old dying is awful and shouldn't happen unless accident.. But with the helter skelter breeding of anything to anything and just mass production of $$$$$ people are willing to buy just to have something that says it's a yorky .... I'm so glad I have my own lines and have had them for over 20 yrs.. I can keep from my own stuff and know the family. I make most breeding for myself and if I had more time and room would have more... But the house if full with the 3 I just kept... I still want to keep one out of Soleil and Ceylon maybe next fall.... ??? Picture... Posha is Mic's grandmother.. Mic is my little bed buddy now.. He is now neutered. |
Very nice pictures. Thanks for sharing. |
Awesome pictures and what beautiful babies. I can only hope my yorkies live to be 18 or older! My oldest is 4and 1/2 and I cannot imagine life without her. What is your secret to long life? |
:bigbdaypa Wow, 18...Happy Birthday ! :bigbdaypa What a wonderful accomplishment. Congratulations! :aimeeyork :animal-pa |
Awsome Pictures! THEY ARE BOTH PRETTY GIRLS AND MIC IS ADORABLE.I AM SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT POSHA SHE SEEMS TO HAVE HAD A LOVING FAMILY AND GOOD LIFE.IT IS AMAZING WITH THE GENES THOUGH ALL LOOK SO DIFFERENT IS CINDY A RED LEG??? POSHA IS PERFECT AND MIC IS SO DARK:rolleyes: :p |
That was such a beautiful story... I can only hope Toby is with me for that long. It goes to show you can tell the time and deication good breeders put into their lines... 18 yrs WOW! :bravo: :congrats: |
How wonderful to have them live so long without serious medical issues! I sure hope my two girls live a very long time as well. I know what you mean about unethical breeders. That can only lead to medical problems with the puppies and those don't live that long. |
Thank you for sharing your beautiful story! They are georgeous :) |
2 Attachment(s) Reply to journey826.... The dark color is more from Muki who is from the same sire as Posha. Muki will be 16 April 18th... He is blk and dark gold.. I've bred toward the dark to blacks all these yrs as I like the contrast. My dogs all look the same now except for size.. The only dog I have that is dark blue is Vaida. We have some that are bright dark red gold heads and black bodies.. Our Pearl is this color.. The most interesting one I have right now as to color is Meriah.. She has such a beautiful face and black body and her hair is straight as string she is really turning into a good looking girl.. Pictures Muki as a puppy and Muki as an old man.... Muki never lifted his leg in the house once he was house broken.. When I'd asked him who is the sweetest boy in the world he'd roll over and lay on his back... I just adore this little old man.. He can't hear too good now and his eyes aren't the best when it gets dark... We always have to count noses when they come in from out side as some times he misses the door..:) |
Thankyou for sharing your priceless momments:thumbup: |
