I have a recipe for homemade apple treats. I made them for the last Yorkie meet-up we had and they all gobbled them up. I actually had them tested at the New Jersey feed lab for protein content, but at the moment cannot find the results sheet. ( I was planning on selling them on a large scale). I would be happy to send you some if you think your puppy could eat them. Let me know :) |
I don't know much about the diet for pups with liver shunts...BUT I have heard of some people feeding their dogs the dehydrated fruits that are made for babies...My daughter loved the apples, they are tiny cubes and very light, not like dried fruit at all.... They also had other varieties, I don't remember because the apples were her favorite! Gerber makes them, and Walmart also has their own brand, they are with the baby food..... As far as I know, they were just plain APPLES...:) |
LUV MY YORKIES If you could that would be great, thank you. Let me know how much i need to send you for them. Thank you so much Maria You can pm me |
Do you know what % of protein would be too much for him Maria? I found these fruit cookies, and the ingredients look like they might work as they are vegan, there is no meat, fish or egg in them. But it says they are still 9% protein, is that too much for Boo-Boo? Take a look, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FRUIT-COOKIES-...QQcmdZViewItem |
I've seen sweet potato treats before. They were just dried cut up pieces of sweet potato |
