Jack went back to the breeders It killed me! As most of you know we got a new puppy last Wednesday, but Tilly just wasn't adjusting well. I think at first it was a jealousy issue then it turned into a fear. The past couple of days she started shaking and peeing on herself when the puppy tried to play with her. :( She would run and hide from him. I just think it was more than she could handle. I miss him like crazy! Hubby and I say no more pets, Tilly just can never adjust to them and it's hard on me and the pets when they go back. The breeder we got him from is terrific! She was very understanding about the situation. I could tell she cared not only about Jack's health, but for Tilly's too. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a healthy puppy. Jack was awesome, Tilly just doesn't like to share the attention. I've been on YT today, just haven't posted much. I'm really bummed. |
:( I'm sorry to hear that! But it sounds like everything worked out for the best. |
aww that IS a bummer. Im sorry it didnt work out. :( HUGS! |
So sorry about that:(, glad that the breeder care so much for him:thumbup: |
Am so sorry things did not work out..... Joyce |
I'm sorry that things didn't work out but it was for the best. Keep your chin up! :) |
sorry it didn't work out, but, it usually takes longer than a week...it took Fritz 3-4 weeks to where he realized he wasn't the "baby" anymore, and now he plays with Ginger very well..at first when she would go up to him, he would snap at her, then would run from her, I just sat here and watched..I really wish you could have given it another couple weeks, it probably would have worked out.. |
I'm so sorry it didn't work out, but you always have to do what's best for the one you have. Not all dogs need a another dog for a companion. My Lady is like that. She would have been completely overshadowed by another dog which is why I never got another one ..... and why I am still Yorkieless! ;) |
so sorry to hear about that . |
awe bummer! |
awww so sorry you had to give lil Jack up. What ever happened to JJ? Did Tilly get along with her ok? |
Sorry that happened to you, I got a new girl and it took one of mine three months to start playing with her, she was not upset or anything, she would just ignore her, and she is the one that loves everyone..then my little one that does not like or want changes accepted her with open paws...they can be strange at times and surprise you...:) again feeling sorry for you at this time:cry: |
Sorry it didn't work out for you. |
Hugs Big Hugs |
I am so sorry for the chaos but wish you gave tilly another week or 2 to get adjusted, sometimes it takes a month, but if you are comfortable with your choice that is what counts. Did the breeeder reimburde you? |

Well, looks like you can just spoil lil Tilly! It's sad though, you get so attached to these babies. I will be thinking of you, hope you can cheer up soon. :ghug: |

aww great choice to send him back, the situation stinks but its the best for everyone. hopefully he will find an owner as loving as you. |
Sorry for that tough choice. We had a puppy mill puppy years ago that was jsut never able to adjust. So, Reggie was a mess with her in the household. We ended up rehoming her through United Yorkie Rescue. We waited so long to try again for a sibling for Reggie. Luckily, we got it right this time. And Reggie is actually BETTER and has more confidence now. Sometimes, it takes longer, and sometimes you can wait for something that will never happen. Only you know what was best for your family. Hugs to you!! |
I'm sorry you had to go through all this. I'm sure it was a hard decision for you to make, but you did what was best for the two of them, and I hope you can find some comfort in that. I had to rehome Penny, and it really upset me, but she went to a great home where I can go see her, and things have really calmed down around here. |
