Counterfeit products Watch out I was just reading an article in a national magazine that warns that counterfeit products for such items as Advantage and Frontline are showing up in various stores. It warns that you should buy such products through your vet. If you do buy at a store make sure that it has the insert since most counterfeit ones don't have them or have them in only a foreign language. Also check the applicator for the manufacturer's name and the EPA registration number. There is a web site that will help you identify counerfeit products. www.epa.gov/pesticides/factsheets/petproduct.htm What will they think of next. |
Thanks for the info. |

Frontline Good information. Thanks! |
Geez, what will they be doing next. I just double checked mine, I bought off the internet and they are real, Thank God! From now on I'll just buy from where I got this one from and not look around. With 3 dogs I have to save where I can, and until the vets/pet stores decide to come down on their prices I'll continue to buy here... |
I found advantage at pets supplly plus. I wonder now if it is counterfeit. It says on the package to be sold by veternarian only. I still buy it from the vet its cheaper. |
