I guess they will adapt very good... you know, it will take time, but it will work... and if somehow it doesn't, just send her to Texas!;) :D I would give it a try with folded eyes! |

I got my Shayley when she was just over 1 year old and all my other Yorkies took well to her. And out of all of my Yorkies she has bonded closest to me. The breeder I got her from was selling her in the same situation, they held her back to show/breed but she was not in the size range they preferred, being that she weighed just under 4lbs. at 1 year and they preferred to have 5-6 lb.ers for show. I think you should get her...:animal36 |

But maybe I could try this one out with her if it didnt work out for us. But 3 lbs is very small. She offered her to me so cheap because she knows how I love my babies. but Ill have to talk to her more about if it didnt work out for us, if maybe I could rehome her with someone on YT or my mom. She never mentioned if she had been spayed, thats another thing I need to ask her, Im thinking that she hasent because she was hoping she would be bigger to use her in her breeding program. |
oh, what a sweet dilema. SHe sounds like a wonderful girl -- wish I could have her. I hope this lady will let you make a trial run. She sounds so trained, it might be the easier route to go. No naughty puppy adventures |

She did tell me she would of been perfect for showing if she had been a little bigger. She said when she walks her she struts and walks beautiful. |

another concern someone brought up is if this female likes kids, I have 2 Grandbabys soon to be 3. I know the breeder also has Grandbabys, but dont know if they are around her Yorkies. I know with any animal kids must be watched at all times with them. But now wondering if this female is use to having kids around. another question I just added to my list. lol I know Mickey only kisses the babies when they first come in, and wants nothing to do with them after that. Minnie is carzy about kids and wants to give kisses 24/7 so I really have to watch her when the babies are here. well watch the babies from her. lol |
I got Cali when my Pom was 8 years old and my pom was not a real sweet girl, they did fine. Then when Cali was 1 1/2 I got Pixie who was 13 months from a similar situation you are talking about but for a lot more money lol and Cali was a little put out at first but they all worked it out. My pom and Pixie are joined at the hip. Pixie does get a little to rough with Cali when they play but Cali goes back in for more. I say give it a shot. One of us would take her in a heartbeat if it didn't work out. |
Well the breeder just called me Well She just called me, She said she got the ages of her females mixed up and that she just turned 3 on Nov 5. she also said shes never been around small children and does not think that she would do well with kids. Im still going over tomorrow to take pictures of her. I dont have the Grandbabies every day, I did, but now I only have them a couple times a week. |

Well if you want, you can let me test her out with my two boys for ya!;) Good luck with your decision! |
cant wait to see pics:) I would be a bit concerned about the no children thing, I say a trial run is needed:) my charlie is a bit timid around kids, he wont bite, but he wont let them pick him up either, I keep a close eye on him when the grand baby is here. |
