Yorkie Christmas Tree stories I thought I would start a holiday thread. Harley is almost 6 months old so this is his first Christmas. I put up my artificial tree over the weekend. I can tell I'm going to have a lot of stores to tell about the Christmas Tree. So far, he has pulled the tree skirt out from under the tree. He thought he was in the woods so he pooped under it. He tried to bite the needles so I told him "No". Now he runs up to the needles and almost touches them, runs away and repeats it. He makes me laugh and I love it!!! My husband told Harley that he really makes me happy. I think my husband may be a little jealous!!!:animal37 |

Too cute! I had to move the lights and decorations up 2 feet on my tree, so it looks like I only decorated part of it! Addy was just a baby last xmas so she slept all the time, now my house is doggie disneyland with all the new things to get into! |

LOL..Lacy never messes with the tree at all. Sometimes she'll lay under it. The cats haven't even really messed with it this year |

Welcome to YT!!! Mine has been messing with the needles too.. i have a fiber optic tree. and he is wanting to mess with my santa and stuffed animal bunnies. |

Mine dont bother the tree |

Mine could care less about the trees or the presents or unwrapped toys. I bought them lots of toys last year and they have not touched any of them, so this year they are not getting anything. I put a few of last years Christmas toys under their tree and they just ignore them as usual. Nothing seems to spark their interest except food. :( |

Some very cute stories. I still have to decorate my tree, so we'll see how it goes. |

 Cute Stories!!! |

Lucy hasn't bothered the tree,it's the sing and dancing Scooby Doo she hates. She snatches him up and slings him around until he quits singing. It's the funniest thing I've seen her do. She hates poor Scooby. She walks in the room and see's him sitting there and starts barking at him until I hide him. She's too funny. |

1 Attachment(s) Last Christmas I found Emma snuggled up in a little ball under the tree, sleeping, as if she was waiting for Santa! It was too cute! Edit: Just found the picture! Here it is! |

I was really apprehensive about putting up a Christmas tree this year because I didn't know what Tobi would do. After reading some of these stories (which are HILARIOUS!!!), I think I'll put up a tree...BUT...it'll have to be on top of a table where my lil stinker won't get at it (I can imagine him pooping on, peeing on, biting, chewing, tugging anything and everything around the tree). Thanks for the laughs and priceless insight on what I should expect when I put up my Christmas tree! :D |

Oh my, that is adorable! This is my puppy's first Christmas too, but I decided against a tree because I wasn't sure what sort of reaction he would have to it. But I can guess it would be something similar. How amusing! |

Hi All!! Well MR. Rowdy 5 1/2 months & Miss Bella 4 1/2 months got a wrapped present ornament made of styrafoam had it torn up all over the living room. I couldn't figure out where the styrafoam came from until i found the wrapping.LOL!! Then i caught sir Rowdstir chewing on the tree. Came home one evening & found my fiber optic snowman he looked like he had been through h*ll  had to throw him away o well LOL. So now i take the grand skinkids tigger & giraffe riding rocking toys & put around the tree. sorry so long :p |

 Cute stories, everyone! |

Bella likes to chew on electrical cords. :( She chewed off the end for my heating pad and an extension cord. So I was a bit apprehensive about putting one up. Bridget has always been good, save one nutcracker ornament she dismantled. I found body parts all over my house  So the tree is up, it's prelit and on and I'm just watching her. Ornaments might go up soon but definitely higher on the tree. |
