Where do you get your patterns?
 
I just love all the dresses you talented ladies make and I would love to make some of my own creations...just for me, not talented enough or blessed with enough patience to sew for the public. I have not been able to find the same patterns that you all seem to use. I would love to have the pattern to the basic dress that I see so much of as well as a pajama pattern. Can anyone tell me where I can find one? Also, there was someone here that had a website in their signature that had the nest type dog beads....they came in chinchilla, bear, mink, as well as many other materials....I should have bookmarked it...does anyone know where I can find these beds?

I made my own pattern. But I* am sure that they have basic dress and PJ patterns at any fabric store.,.

OH thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Those are the ones I was talking about.....they looks so comfy.

I have looked at walmart and have not found the pattern I am looking for with the nice gathered skirts, maybe I will surf the net and see what I can come up with.

I just wondered if you are an experienced sewer. I could send you a copy of the pattern I use. It is an easy pattern to use.. Here are a few dresses made from it..

If you want me to send it to you, I would need your babies measurements (neck, chest, and length from base of neck to base of tail. Then I could send you one that would be close to the size you need.

Oh those are so cute. I would hate to put you to so much trouble. I have ordered a dress and if nothing else I guess I could use it to draw off a pattern. I will have to see how it goes and if I am sucessful I hope to make dresses as cute as yours.

it really isnt any trouble.. It is only 3 pieces and I can make one in about 30 minutes from start to finish.. If you change your mnind, just PM me with measurements

I get mine from Joann's Simplicity patterns, but I'm sure you can get them at Walmart too.

Simplicity and McCalls have patterns for dogs in the craft section of their pattern books.
