Has any one? Hey Has anyone used Baby clothes for the furbaby When they were like a couple of weeks old:icon5::icon5::icon5: |
i have used the newborn onsies on my girls when I have weaned their babies to help dry mama's milk up. i went to Goodwill and got a pile of them. |
I'm not sure they make baby clothes small enough to fit a puppy that young. Even preemies weigh a few pounds. I've used baby clothes for Gus but he was four pounds and up. |
Ive thought about buying onsies for my full grown yorkies...never knew if they would work or not?? |
I put a onsie on Lacy when she was spayed to keep her from messing with her incision, but I've never bought human baby clothes to put on her because they aren't made to fit dogs right |
I make most of Romeo's clothes from baby clothes. I have to cut them down and addapt them. I think they work great. I buy them all from thrift store for a buck or twoI also make some out of the sleeve of a sweat shirt. http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...Picture245.jpg http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...Picture261.jpg http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...Picture255.jpg http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/b...Picture240.jpg If he is real small the sweat shirt sleeves work the best cause they come with a collar already on it and just cut holes for arms and add decals if you want. Hope this helps. |
Thx yea it does |
You can also buy TINY T shirts from websites for teddy bears. When I first got Rebel, he weighed 12 oz. and they were perfect for him. |
The first shirt I ever bought for Bentley was a tiny newborn baby shirt from Carters. It actually worked out great because it was very short so he didn't potty on it and it kept him warm :) |

I used baby onsies on Abigail when she was spayed. Worked great to protect the incision. |
