Juicy carrier opinions Hi everyone. For those of you that use a Juicy Couture carrier,I'd like your opinion of them. What are your likes/dislikes,have they been worth the cost, does your baby seem to like them? etc etc. I am thinking of investing in one for Lily soon and would like your take, good or bad, on them. Thanks in advance! ~Angie |
I bought a Juicy carrier @ Nordstrom last xmas for Dior. She has been in it at most 5 times. Its very sturdy, but it gets pretty heavy after carrying it around for a while. I was planning on selling mine, since she never uses it but its hard to part with:D |
I don't find mine that comfortable. The handle isn't long enough to put on your shoulder and the strap is too long and awkward for me. Just try one out in a store and see what you think. I have the small one and it is just big enough for Sugar who is 3 pounds. It is too small for Spike who is 4 pounds. I haven't handled the larger one but it seems like it might be bulky. |
2 Attachment(s) I've always liked Juicy bags as bags [not dog carriers]..I would imaging they get "bulky" and heavy since most of them are "tote" styles.. If you want a chic carrier to invest in, I'd recommend a 'PuchiBag'.. ((Google it). I just bought my first one and love it. It is a handbag style and doesnt look too "dog carrier-ish" Last night, I had a few drinks and compulsively ordered the Pink Stiped Barbie PuchiBag from GWLittle.com...It's already shipped, so I'm excited...Just hope hubby wont be ticked...LOL  It was on sale.. http://www.gwlittle.com/Detail.aspx?...CategoryID=252 Here are some pics of Daisy in her new PuchiBag..doesn't she look thrilled?? hahaha  :D |
This is so cute. My juicy carrier was too heavy. I sold it. |
1 Attachment(s) I have a Juice Couture carrier and I like it. I don't use it a whole lot but it's not that uncomfortable. Lacy is 7.5lbs so she just starts to get heavy on her own after awhile. I mainly use my stroller instead of carriers. I have a Tote style carrier and those seem to be more comfortable and roomy than the bowler styles |

It can get kinda heavy and uncomfortable to carry but it is very sturdy and comfy for them so it's all up to you. I loved the one i had but i had to sell it to get another one that fits both my girls. |
2 Attachment(s) I also have the tote style juicy carrier. I like it and I don't find it uncomfortable to carry. |
I really wanted a Juicy carrier in the beginning but then I went to a store and looked at them and picked them up and decided that they were way too heavy. Why would I want to lug around a carrier that weighs more than my dog. After that I bought several different carriers until I found the one that I love. This is the one that I really, really like. It has everything that I wanted. It looks like a purse and has extra pockets for my stuff so I don't have to carry it and a purse. Teddi seems to really like it too. http://tinkerbellscloset.com/items/c...bag-detail.htm |
I wish I could find a stylish dog carrier for guys LOL :-) |
Yes, the bowler styles are VERY heavy, I almost couldn't believe when I picked it up. lol. Then they have all the heavy hardware weighing it down more. The other style looks much more practical. I'm personally a Coach girl and purchased the new coach dog carrier this year, it's a little boxy but discreet enough to sneak Sarge into the mall for some shopping. I must admit, designer brand is important to me... and juicy is one that will definitely capture the attention of anyone that has a clue. Good Luck! |

Thank you! Thanks everyone for your response. Decisions decisions :p I'll probably just go to the store and see how I like them in person. That will be the only way I can tell if it would be for me. (although, I do like me some Juicy, lol,so it'll probably be an easy decision ;) ) |
I don't have a pic of mine..but I got mine at Target..It's brown and pink..and BEAUTIFUL..I personally think..it's not the brand name that matters..it's how the bag looks and if its comfotable. Everyone has their tastes though!:D |

One thing to consider since you will be investing quite of bit of "Cha~ching" in a Juicy carrier... I don't belive they are airline approved. If you are considering on ever flying with your pup (like to the 1st Annual International YorkieTalk Meet-up -:D ). I have a PetFlys carrier - it's a little less expensive but it's so sturdy and very cute! Costs are in the $100 range. I personally don't use a carrier, I'd rather have my kids walk no matter where we are going. I don't quite "get" using the carrier for regular usage. |

I LOVE my Juicy carriers so much I have almost everyone that has come out. They are sturdy, however be careful of the knockoffs. I THOUGHT I purchased a real carrier and the quality is much less than a REAL carrier. It almost came apart in the handle area which would of resulting in the doggie falling to the ground =( Also at the entry of the carrier there is the "J" emblem. If you put closes on your dog as I do mine, there nas been numerous times the 'J' gets caught on thier clothing or collars. Just be watchful when they get in the carrier. |
