Head Tilt My Buddy (2.5 yr Yorkie/Lhasa mix) has started tilting his head back - not side to side but straight up. I've started tracking when he does this and there does seem to be a greater frequency with weather change and someone has suggested the change in barometric pressure. With my research it does seem to have an affect on humans but mostly linked to migraines. Do puppies get headaches? I hope he is not suffering but he does act weird when he does this but will engage in play and eats better now than he ever has. He's always been a picky eater. At his annual checkup the Vet didn't seem to concerned by the sympton - his eyes and ears were clear. I'm thinking of taking him back though as it is bothering me. Thoughts/opinions? |
I am sorry that i am no help but i just wanted to welcome you to YT |
Have no idea... but would love to know when you find out. However, if your vet didnt seem concerned and you trust them, I'd go with it... Or you can always get another vet's opinion :) and a very BIG Welcome to YT!!! :D |
My Buddy does this ever once in awhile. It's kinda like he is stretching but he holds it for a few seconds. I have wondered why he does this. He will go for days without doing it then I notice him doing it again. He does not seem to be in any pain. Still running around like a crazy dog!!!! I am not worried about it. Hopefully, it is nothing for us to be concerned about. |
I'm sorry I can't help either I just wanted to give you a warm welcome to YT!! it's a great place to be! :) |
