Trimming eyelashes? Can I trim Gracie's eyelashes - they are extremely long and end up in her eyes causing extra tearing. They are probably 1 and 1/4 inch long and curly at the ends which is why they get into her eyes. Do any of you do this? |
whoa, those are some long eyelashes. maxi's are only about 1-2 millimeters. :) |
Sure you're not talkin about the bangs.. |
No they are definitely eyelashes... |
I have never noticed on mine I will have to check it out |
WOW... if you have a groomer. I'd ask them what they think. |
I thought you werent supposed to touch the actual lashes bc they are protection for their eyes. I'm no groomer, but I swear I have read that or heard that somewhere! |

TJ has SUPER long eyelashes too! They are like an inch long. It's so weird. Riley's eyelashes are really short. TJ's don't curl though, so they don't bother him, or at least I don't think they do. |
Max has long eyelashes but I wouldnt cut them, I think they are cute! Sometimes they bother his eyes so I try to brush them away of his eye with my fingers. I've managed to train them away.. Perhaps you could give that a try before cutting them. If you cut them I would imagine they would grow back and the short stubs would really hurt his eyes? |
Gus's eyelashes are very long as well. But they curl upwards and not in his eyes at all. I think they are so cute. But if they seemed to be bothering him in anyway I would ask a groomer if they can do something about trimming them. |
Eyelashes I dunno. Sounds kind of dangerous. Might ask a groomer about that. :eyebrow2: |
Cookie's lashes are about 1 inch long maybe a tad longer. Ive never cut his lashes and never noticed them in his eyes. Cookie's lashes are straight and not curled so they dont get in his eyes. I think they look so cute long.I guess you could trim them a bit. Genie |
