Mocha escaped his CRATE!! Ok, I know that Yorkies are very smart, but I had no idea they were THIS smart! My 15 week old Mocha has figured out how to open his crate door  Even I sometimes have trouble getting that thing open :p What am I to do now? He can climb out of pens, and now he can open doors too :shocked7q I might have to board him at my vet's this weekend, but now I'm worried that my little Houdini might manage to get out his kennel in there too :2omg: What am I going to do with this little escape artist? |
LOL I'm glad his sister doesn't do those naughty things. Can you put a rubber band around it somehow where it won't come open? I know with this xpen, Steve had to make a top for it, as when we got fritz, he would climb over it...Send him to Aunt Sherrie, I'll watch him while you go on your trip...LOL |
I will try the rubber band thing. Hopefully he doesn't chew right through it and still get out  I'd send him over to you, but he might escape from the plane along the way :p Quote:

LOL, that is funny, they are really smart and can figure things out. |
You just go ahead and send him to Aunt Sherrie, he would have a ball with his brother and sister |
oh No:p They are smart thats for sure, Do you have any of those black ties, maybe try that, you have to snip them off though to get in:rolleyes: Good luck, mine have never tryed that;) Thank goodness:) |
I was worried Elphaba might figure out how to get out of hers...it wouldn't be hard if she realized the little lever to push on. So for a while I always put her toy box in front of the door so she couldn't move the lever. |
HAHAHAHA....... I used to keep Rocky in my bedroom, when I went tow work. I would keep the door open but keep it blocked with a cardboard that was long enough to block it and was about 2ft tall. Well I came home one day and rocky met me at the front door, I was freaked out@!!! next day? same thing, next day the same. Little monkey learned to jumo over it with great results and was roaming the appartment all to himself. Now the place is all his, I just seal off the kitchen and he doest care for it either. YIORKIES ARE NOT MEANT TO BE LOCKED UP!!:D :D :D |
They may have small bodies...but they've got BIG smarts!! Would a padlock work? |

I just want to say that his Grammy didn't teach him that. He is just a very smart boy!! He knows his mommy is leaving him and he is getting his ducks all in a row so he can sneak in her luggage and go with her on her trip!! Kisses little boy! We love you! |
I'd be really impressed if I opened up my luggage and he popped out lol. I hate the thought of boarding him, but I just don't trust him with anybody who doesn't have a Yorkie lol. Marci (marcerella02) would've gladly taken him but it just so happens that we're both going away on the same weekend :( Quote:

Haha. mickey escaped from his playpen a few wks ago. he jumped right over the top:eek: was just glad he didnt hurt himself.when bella was bit younger she used to squeeze through the gaps in the bars in her cage. so between the two of them ive aged about hundred yrs with the stress:D . that was while ago and now i use a puppy gate on the kitchen door and all has been great since then:thumbup: |
My German Shepherds learned to escape the crate when they were puppies :) Imagine coming home and finding the two of them on the couch! |
I had a pup that could do that, now I use a clip, it looks like the end of a leash. I the latch on the door closed with that. |
