Awwwwww!!! I think he looks adorable!!! I know it is a shock to you. Many of us have been in your shoes. I remember this happeining to Buddy....but now when I look back at those pictures I realize how adorable he looked. It was just that it was a HUGE shock when I walked in the groomers and he looked shaved!!! Like I said, he is a cutie pie either way!!!!!!! |
He's still adorable, and his hair will grow back in no time. |

He's still adorable and sooooo handsome... maybe he can wear a cute shirt...:) |
It'll grow back. It really will and it won't take as long as you think it will. I'm sure you know this but I thought I'd reassure you. The more I love something the less I trust people with it. I have plans to learn to groom my furball. It'll get some wonky haircuts until I learn to do it well but in the meantime I'll be happy it's me doing it and not some uncaring person doing it wrong and scamming me on top of it. I encourage you (and every other Yorkie owner) to learn, from what I've read it's not hard. Just another great way to spend some time quality time with your furball. I've been going to groomers just to see them work with the dogs and I'm so not happy with what I saw that the sky'll fall before I let any of them put they hands on my pooch. |

He still looks super cute though! |
Well it certainly is something to think about as he has now been to 2 different groomers and I haven't been pleased either time. There doesn't seem to be alot of groomers in my area of Ohio. So, maybe next time I will just have to give it a whirl myself. |
Haha "As if there would be a next time!" So true! Sometimes it's better just to learn to do it ourselves. I think that's what I'll do when I get my first yorkie next month... |
I know the change can be shocking for you, but he looks good! It will help if you make him wear a t-shirt, believe me! :) |

Oh he'll be dressed in all kinds of stuff by the end of this wk...LOL I been orderin and orderin..... shirts, sweaters, vests, and even a new carrier!! shhhhhhhhhh....don't tell hubby! |
YIKES!!!!! I keep Bellas hair on the shorter side b/c she isn't a fan of being brushed:aimeeyork and its just easyer but omgoodness thats allot to have cut off! At least it's just hair and not a vital or even non vital body part! (ever the optimist) |
He is so cute!! That little face is just precious. With the winter coming, you will love being able to put all those darling sweaters on him and not worry about matting his hair.:) |
My sympathy is with you but it will grow back! Years ago I had an Afghan hound with flowing hair and asked the groomer if she had experience with afghans, she said yes my yorkie at the time (in the 80"s) was groomed by her w/o probs. I went to pick up Ari & Rocky.Ari, the afghan looked like your sweet yorkie NO HAIR. I freaked out.Thankfully your dog is ok, he really is a cutie b4 and after! |
Oh, I think he's still adorable and it will grow back faster than you think! You might want to put hoodies or sweaters or something on him so he doesn't get too cold. |
He's still a little doll! I understand how you feel, though, because when Rebel had LP surgery he was shaved from the waist down:eek: and he was left with mid length hair from the waist up. He looked strange to say the least:p I bought clippers and cut it down myself to kind of blend it in and he's been to the groomers twice since then for just the basics. He still looks naked to me after 3 months, but it's finally starting to come back. Your baby's hair will grow back out before you know it. In the meantime, just a great excuse to dress him up;) |
