Look At This.. 1 Attachment(s) I was watching Cody and he was acting funny like he was trying to get to his back and he couldnt (like us when we have a itch and can't get to it) so I picked him up and his hair was matted in that spot and he was bleeding so I drove him up to the vet. well on the way I thought about it.. and 2 weeks ago mom had food cooking on stove and it was boiling over and the water had hit cody but i looked and there was no blister on him. well they gave him ointment and antibiotic to give 2x daily. they said it could be from where he got burnt or a bug bite. so now i owe 37.10 they charged a 20.00 office visit and i didn't even see the vet they took him back for her to look at. i was just wondering what you all thought it might be? |
I don't know what it is, I have never went through that. But I would assume it would be a burn. I hope he gets to feeling better. Aubrey and Dakota send kisses! |
Chuy had a spot like that on his rump, just above his tail. The vet said it was a spot he had rubbed raw after a flea bit him. Chuy's allergic to fleas, and they make a rash all over his body. We have to be careful not to let him get fleas, and if he does, we wash and wash, then put Malaseb on him to stop the itching, or else we get nasty raw spots. I hope your baby gets better. Well wishes. OT...Amy, I see you are from Palatka. Is that close to Interlachen (sp?) or there abouts? Hubby and I went down that way for a funeral a couple years ago when his best friend was murdered. I just found a copy of a newspaper from Palatka. Sorry for the rambling. |
yeah its near interlachen! i put his advantage on the first of this month so it shouldn't have been caused by fleas.. i dont know but she put him on antibiotics and ointment twice a day im sure he will be better in no time! |
Ah sweet Cody certainly will be better. |
It does sort of look like burn, or possable bug bite reaction, hope he is better soon, hugs cody:) |
