How Much Did He Cost
 
LOL Another one of those stupid questions, MY oldest daughter just got her new yorkie baby 5 days ago, She took him in for his vet visit, Called me when she got home, To tell me everything went well:) He is the cutest little thing, I know they all are) ;) She says, mom this lady came right over to me and said , OH A YORKIE, HOW MUCH DID YOU PAY FOR HIM, I said welcome to my world;) I said what did you say to her, She said, I paid nothing, He was a gift;) The lady said YA Right and Im a MIllionaire:eek: RUDE RUDE RUDE. I said dont worry about it , And then I taked to her about joining our family:D

Hubby and I were with the furkids at a fleamarket on Sunday, someone walks over and says "oh you've got those expensive dogs" Gee don't all these comments just make you mad!

Tell your daughter that there are so many rude people out there, and they tend to be jealous of us Yorkie owners;)

Congrats to your daughter! I posted a thread like this about a week or so ago. I was so surprised with the amount of people just straight out asking how much I paid for my Yorkie. It is so rude, and to me, it's almost like approaching a stranger and asking them how much money they make :mad:

Thanks, She is joining, Im going to go there tommarow and show her how;) She is my daughter who has the little guy that was just sick with croupe, he is much better now though:)

I think its great!!;) they can comment all they want on how much they are, but frankly it does not bother me.......:D

I had a woman (stranger, just walked up to me) how much I paid for Sunshine. I said "Oh, quite a bit, but she didn't cost as much as your B**b J*b!:eek: " Then I turned around and walked away.
Tell her to have an answer "in the can" for that question and not feel bad about it. Some dinosaurs are just rude and you have to pin their ears back whenever you can.
I hope she joins us here, we'll teach her all of the bad habits you tried to keep her away from when she was little!!!:p
Tell her I grew up in Jackson, I can be snotty when I have to be.

Dog-knapping is big business where I live and everyone asks what everything costs. I also say my pets were gifts. If a total stranger asks what breed they are, I say they are "corriente," meaning mixed.

I have said in the past..." Do I know you?" Usually they say, 'Uhhhh, no I don't think so" and so then I say.... "so why would I answer that question?" or they get what I am getting at right away. I think this is the perfect answer for those perfect strangers.
