She is in my prayers. Hopefuly they can get adiagnosis and treatment.

WEll.... I was going to PM those that had Pm'd me and asked for updates on Natalie but since this thread has started I will post an update on this thread after I talk to Dena this afternoon.

Bless your kind heart for supporting Dena the way you have. I have been soooo worried for her and little Natalie today. When you speak to her, please be sure to tell her that Lauren sends her a great big hug. I am so happy that you have met them, had time to visit with Dena.
Natalie, precious darling, I am thinking of you and praying your cure is a simple one. Hang in there little girl, and let Gracie do her "thing" that seems somehow to encourage you so much to stand up all by your little self and eat.

I haven't acutally DONE anything. I have spoken with her a couple of times and met them to get the things I bought from her sale. She asked if it was ok if she brought Natalie and of couse it was ok.... I mean really... who doesnt want to see a sweet baby??? :p So.... we met and I got to hold her and put a face and baby to the names and situation.
Another member that has been in contact with her and talking with her quite a bit is Elizabeth.. (txgurl06). She is another person you can always ask info from. She has been very supportive of Dena as well.
She told me I could call her around noon... I think I will wait til about noon:30

For those who have shown concern and wanting updates on Natalie.
I am just getting off the phone with Dena.

*They kept Natalie and will have her for a few days. They have her in a incubator in ICU with oxyegen, IV's and all. She said when they first got there they took her away to check her oxygen level and such, they did an examine, did xrays, blood work, doing bile acid, chem Test (figure me is this is not the correct term or whatever :rolleyes:) At this point they said yes the heart is enlarge possibly stemming from lung disease, Bacterial Pneumonia. They are aggressively treating for at this point to fight the infection. After they get infection under control they can see where they are, as far as where to go from there.
She said at this point it sounds treatable. Dena feels better after todays visit and has high hopes for the treatment they are giving her. She appreciates the support & prayers everyone is sending Natalies way and will update when she knows something different. They will call & update her 2 times a day.

Let's all cross our fingers it is a NASTY case of Pneumonia and can be treated with this aggressive round of antibiotics. Hoping Natalie will emerge a different pup.!!!

Oh, I hope that little baby gets better! Untreated pneumonia can get so nasty, so hopefully they've caught it early enough. I'm so happy she's getting treatment - and Dena must feel hopeful and relieved to have some competent care. Best wishes!!!!!!!
