Harness Question Is it okay to use a cat harness on Lilly? I'm not really sure if there's a difference or not... it almost seems like it still hits and pulls on her neck where a normal collar and leash would. |
How big is lilly? When I got Jolie and Jen at 5 months old, I was able to fit them in a tiny step in harness I found at Petco. It looked big but I adjusted the straps and they fit nice and snug. They were about 2 pounds at the time. |

The step in type won't come up to her throat - I know exactly what you are talking about. With the step-in, it crosses at the chest, no where near the throat. |

Attachment 166678 I mean, we already have the harness but I don't wanna keep it if I don't need to use it. It's adjustable so you can make it smaller or bigger if you need to... I just don't know if cat harnesses are made different and it could be harming her throat. |

Sounds like what you are describing is a figure-8 harness which does still put strain on their neck. Not good for a dog that pulls at all. I have a step-in harness for Lacy that works great |
I have step ins for my smallest babies and I love them! Chattiesmom (Cindy) sells awesome silk step ins :) |
Yep you need a step in harness. Your harness shouldnt be pulling at the neck. Chattiesmom also makes them |
