Hey everyone, I came back in PEACE How is everyone and your doggies? My scooby do is doing just fine, he has finally settled in and is eating up a storm, Bandit and him are getting along so well at times I feel they dont need me anymore:( . I had to shave down scooby the yorkie cuz he has some pooping encounters that was quite stinkie and vet recommended he be shaved. But I think I had shaved before. So all the baby hair is gone and his hair is coming back nicely. He sure is an active little soul:eek: Will post pics later of them. he looks cute shaved down:D didnt know their ears were so big:eek: |
some of their ears aren't big..my biewers ears are bigger, and that's why I guess at times I'm glad they're down instead of up, he would look funny haveing his huge ears up on his little body..Glad the 2 are finally getting along..how's he doing on his housebreaking? |

He looks like a rat terrier bald with big ears, I will post pics later on. He is doing OK, at times he scratches the crate or whines to be let out, which is good. But after each nap or feeding or watering I take him out, he PEES about 20 times a day:eek: and poops about 5. I have never known a dog to poop so much and only eat two times a day:rolleyes: . But he has only messed once in the house in about two weeks. I dont let him run free, I cofine both to the washroom and only after they have both done their business. Do you think it is WISE to lift him each time he has to leave the house? As when we do not, he pees. I am wondering if he will know that this is the way out if we keep lifting him? I guess they have bigger bladders? |
What kind of dog food is he eating? I know that a lot of the cheap dog foods will cause them to poop more times a day..My little 14 week old yokie is only pooping maybe one time during the day, and one or two times at night on her pee pad, but, she's still eating quite a few times during the day..she is only peeping maybe 6 times a day.. your little guy needs to learn to go to the door without being carried..they are going to have accidents here and there, but I truely believe the only way to get them housebroken is to let them run, catch them while they're peeing on the floor, then you can scold them and teach them where to go..Mine is already about 99% housebroken, and the reason I'm saying 99% is because, even though she goes to the pee pad on her own(she has no clue yet to what go potty means), she sometimes gets to the pad and then misses it..:) |

That is what I have been telling my husband, not to baby him that way and always carry him as he will never learn that the door means WALK out the door. But ah well. This puppy eats Royal Canin mini. He eats about 200gm a day, and carrots and other things. I am not sure what is the correct amount of food for him, as the bag specifications are so little and when I put taht he is wanting more. So I have been giving him 100gm per meal two times a day. he is about 6lbs |
I give Ginger her puppy food in the morning, then at night, as the other dogs food(same kind as hers, just not puppy food) is the same kind, so when she gets hungry, she just grabs some of their kibbles...sounds like he's doing fine..it's sweet that your hubby loves your babies.. |

Hubby has to out out he goes LOL,he knows the babies come first:D . But I dont force it, he truly loves them and has a special fondness for scooby:animal36 . Bandit has turned into the Macho Man of all times, really made his packing order and since then, no more spraying. I guess scooby succumed to his dominance:rolleyes: But today Bandit is not feeling well he is cutting teeth and I found two premolars on the floor and blood on his pillow:( |
ahhh poor baby |
